There are a few people on here that don't drink but a few that do, so I thought I'd put this in The Swamp.  What kinds of beer do you guys like or drink? I usually drink a poor man's beer Milwaukee's Best Ice but my fav. is Heineken! ( Drink Heineken....you'll feel fine again!)   I've become more attracted to Ice Beer here lately.  There IS hard liquor, like Moonshine but I usually don't drink Moon or anything else hard. If you drink the easy to drink stuff either fast enough or enough in quantity, you get the Buzz you're after! So, what do other Hazzzardites  drink when it comes to alcohol?

I'm not sure what the alcohol content is of my favorite drink is but it must be pretty high. I put a quart of vinegar, a quart of buttermilk, a quart of apple cider, and a quart of strawberry ice cream soup in a glass jug, shake it up good, put it on the porch in the sun for 3 months. And it's cool to watch. The color of it changes 5 times in those 3 months. I'll bring some to the Moonshine 400 for you folks to sample. I'm going to be competing with Hobie's Finest.

BTW, ice cream soup is from Pee Wee Herman. It's melted ice cream. It's easy to make. Here's the recipe. 1) Take ice cream out of freezer. 2) Put in big bowl 3) Add no other ingredients 4) Wait until ice cream melts.

I drink occasionally. Those Wine Coolers in the Fruit flavors like Peach Fuzzy Navel etc.

Right now I'm about 5 min. from indulging in my case of Natural Ice.....poor man's beer....and watching TDOH.....first one  is Mrs. Daisy Hogg

I tried my first beer earlier in the year. Not sure if I mentioned it before lol, Busch Light.. not a huge fan of the taste right off, but that’s only one beer, there are a lot of different brews. 
 

Wouldn’t mind just finding something I can stick in a can cooler for a summers day, sit out on my porch and enjoy.

Let me know how it turns out! I think  though, IPA's would do you better , 1. because you're new to beer 2. summer time is more of an IPA time! ( Indigo Pale Ale). Heineken is a lager.

Ale is a beer that is fermented at the top of the vat and has a fruity or flowery taste. ( Not my favorite)   and Lagers are fermented on the bottom of the vat, take longer to brew and takes a colder temperature.  They are stronger beers with a higher alcohol content.

All I know, is that anybody that can drink something like that and is still vertical......I'm not going to mess with him!

Well I know I'm late for DOHD, but better late than never. I was sleeping and didn't make the official holiday. I've been tired lately. I think it's part of my Hernia situation. ( Which hopefully will be over after sept. 3!)  They say fatigue is part of it.  Anyway, I hope everybody had a great DOHD!!

OH my fellow Hazzardites!! I am losing my mind!! ( or what's left of it!)   I was thinking wrong....TODAY is DOHD!! HAPPY DOHD! I'm going all out! My wife is off this weekend and so tomorrow I have time to sleep in! So...tonight its, Friday night, pizza, DOH, the next day free!! ( you can't ask for better!  )....I MIGHT add a few AB's to the mix....although I'm about to have a few Adult Beverages here in a little  while!

I also guarantee if you  drink something like that in front of other supposed Bad A** es, they will stand aside and not crowd you and give you plenty of room!

my wife ( or her girl friend....not sure)   bought me a 12 pack of Heineken, which I'm finishing up the last one now.....drink Heineken....you'll feel fine again! I wish Hazzard had Heineken!

I've learned a life lesson here lately......The more money you have, the tighter you tend to be. Before I had money,  I used to buy Heineken , a very expensive beer. Now, My go to beer ( which my wife just came in with a 15 pack) , is Milwaukee's Best Ice { I love Ice Beer....my fav.}  and my go-to- beer....go fig. I can easily afford Heineken but prefer, somewhat, Milwaukee's Best Ice because it's cheaper...a LOT cheaper!!

Yep.... happens to me all the time. I'm not sure if they give me space because they think I'm unstable and dangerous because I'm drinking buttermilk or because it smells so bad. Either way it's nice to have those big intimidating bikers give me space.

Believe me, if they see you drink that....they won't even TRY to get near you!

Yes and no. If it's fresh some of those guys can handle it but I always drink buttermilk that is outdated. The stuff I'm having right now expired April 25.

I remember my grandmother used to give me   Buttermilk and so I was raised on it and like it. Once, in 2nd grade, the teacher asked us who all liked Buttermilk and I was the only one to raise their hand!
