Then they discovered they liked it and in later stories started doing it on purpose. The 1st jump was when running away from the gold dust robbers the Charger had originally belonged to when it was black before the Dukes bought it and painted it orange put the flag name and number on it and built the race car with it. They had the Gold dust stashed behind the dashboard and wanted it back. RogerDuke and Hobie Hartkins 1 1 Quote

Skipper Duke Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago Fun Fact: Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard was originally to be a Hughie Hogg episode. But Jeff Altman was not available for it. So they brought in Robert Morse (Dewey Hogg) who in the storyline was Hughie's brother. Trivia: The episode's title How to Succeed in Hazzard is a play on words of Morse's successful stage play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Quote

Robert Morse also made a movie version of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' in 1967. I mentioned how the title of his Dukes episode parodied the title of the movie when I posted a screengrab of Robert from his 1965 movie 'The Loved One' - you can see it here. Quote
