It's still under warranty, but the batteries are in short supply and on back order, so they don't know when they'll get it fixed. Hoovie said that the failing battery may explain the bad performance he experienced, but at least it's not his problem any more. He also added that he's still a fan of electric vehicles, but doesn't think that electric trucks are viable yet. RogerDuke 1 Quote

The weird thing about that is that the Christmas party at the Duke farm is my favorite scene in the whole series. I love your idea of a Dukes Christmas! I don't like that I have to wait a whole year to have one myself. I'm not 100% sure we got the food the same. We picked southern dishes we like. I believe the Dukes had a turkey and possibly ham on the table. RogerDuke 1 Quote

Garrett Duke Posted January 2, 2023 Report Posted January 2, 2023 Happy New Year! Did anyone do anything to celebrate? We had our Christmas today. It was pretty relaxing and went well. Sad to go back to work tomorrow. LOL RogerDuke 1 Quote
RogerDuke Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 I stayed up until midnight but missed the ball drop because it happened at the very second that Ohio State missed the field goal. I'm rooting for Georgia in the championship game. I am a Georgia resident in my heart. Hazzard County that is. Garrett Duke 1 Quote

We had an ice storm yesterday and managed to get through it without losing power. Last time we had an ice storm, we lost power for 3 days. Stay safe and warm, everybody. Boss JD Hogg Posted January 7, 2023 Author Report Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) New Years Eve my wife and I went to our neighbors, who live downstairs from us. Everyone passed out before the ball dropped so we went up to our apartment to watch the ball drop and then went to bed. Edited January 7, 2023 by Boss JD Hogg Quote

Boss JD Hogg Posted January 11, 2023 Author Report Posted January 11, 2023 We took the decorations down a few days ago. One of the cats likes to chew on the artificial tree branches and he throws them up. We had enough of that. Garrett Duke and RogerDuke 1 1 Quote

In the Great Santa Claus Chase they had a Turkey dinner so I guess we're getting closer. lol Edited December 4, 2023 by Boss JD Hogg RogerDuke 1 Quote
RogerDuke Posted December 5, 2023 Report Posted December 5, 2023 Loving Christmas. Definitely the most wonderful time of the year. Losing my daughter will make it a struggle at times this December though....but I know she'd want me to be happy.... so I'll have to focus on what she would want.
