Oh yeah Rosco, I would not have minded Coy and Vance in the 2005 movie, and the story wouold have been more in the works as the original dukes, if John and Luke didn't want any part of it , coy and vance would have been a better choice.

Yeah, Wb was ripping off the dukes on profits made from selling Models of them and the general lee and all stuff associated with the show. They were not getting their take and that's why BO and Luke walked off the set. I still don't like Coy and Vance as dukes, as many other did not either, because as soon as they shhowed up, rating for the show dropped a lot. As soon as Bo and luke came back, the rating went sky high...I wish they could have made an 8 season, that would have been nice.

Oh I went to see it at the Theatre, out of curiousity, and man was I ever bewildered, hated it and almost left the theatre. Still, I never seen the General Lee in action on the big screen and that was the only thing that kept me there till the end, it was so cool to see the General Lee on a theatre screen.

I think that was when he was Micheal Long and not Micheal Knight.

Sure thing, and I agree with you, the dukes have a moral story behind all that chasing and fighting hogg's laws. I learnt a lot from that show, what real friends really mean, there is no back stabbing in the duke family,or with anyone friends of the dukes. Something I value very much with my true friends. I am like Jessie said, "Once a friend of a duke, you got a friend for like", and that is what I am like to those who are true friends.

exactly, TimDuke, and 28 yrs ago , parts was not as high as they are now, restoring , even just putting it in it's original condition cost a ton of money, let along making a General lee out of it. To buy an already done up General lee will be way over $25, 0000 at least. In our auto trader, I found a '69 charger , and it was iin ruff shape, and yet the price sticker was still 12,000 dollars to get it.
