Skipper Duke reacted to RogerDuke in Happy Birthday to Catherine!!
February is almost over. That means two things. Spring is just around the corner.....and the day after February ends....we celebrate the birthday of the sweetest prettiest girl in Hazzard County. Always has been and always will be. We love you Catherine. Nobody in the world would have made a better Daisy Duke and us fans are so thankful for every second you were her.

Luke Duke:"You all set Doc?" Doc Appleby:"Yeah." Luke Duke:"Alright." Waylon Jennings:"And waitin' down the road was Sheriff Little of Chickasaw County. He only loved 1 thing. His badge, and hated 2 things. Dukes and Rosco Coltrane. Why, every night, he prayed to his maker that he could nail the Duke Boys before Rosco did." Doc Appleby:"Sorry fer the delay boys." Luke Duke:"That's alright. We'll just take a short cut." Doc Appleby:"Oooh!"

So oil changes are going to be more expensive this year. Getting the car checked out tomorrow so I figured get the oil changed too since it's due. 5qt oil jug costed $2 more than the last time but the oil filter price was a bit of a shock, almost 40% increase. Was $7.99 at Napa now $10.99.
I caught what the wife has so should be a fun week figuring out which cold medicine will deal with the symptoms without turning me into a zombie.

This video from BBC show 'Top of the Pops' shows band member Jeffrey Daniel premiering a move we now as the Moonwalk. This was about a year before Michael Jackson performed his first one. Daniel went on to work as a choreographer for Jackson.

How about a bit of soul?:
This 1967 classic is by Aretha's older sister.
As "Weird Al" would say:
You can torture me
With Donnie & Marie
You can play some Barry Manilow
Or you can play some schlock
Like New Kids On The Block
Or any Village People song you know
Or play Vanilla Ice
Hey, you can play him twice
And you can play the Bee Gees any day
But Mr. DJ, please
I'm beggin' on my knees
I just can't take no more of Billy Ray
Don't play that song
That "Achy Breaky" song
The most annoying song I know
And if you play that song
That "Achy Breaky" song
I might blow up my radio, ooo
...

This may have been mentioned before in the past...but, if you ever watch the classic coming-of-age/juvenile delinquent drama Rebel Without a Cause (1955) with James Dean & Natalie Wood, part’s of that were filmed on the Warner Bros lot as well. The police station in that movie, is the court house/police station in “Dukes”.

Didn't even get 2 inches of snow from the storm yesterday. Both local news stations I watch were predicting 4 inches but the snow fizzled out when I went to bed last night instead of lasting all night.
A cold has worked it's way around the wife's work this week and she came home yesterday with a sore throat and runny nose. Hopefully her symptoms will be mild and quickly gone. Everybody's first thought was Covid but nobody had any positive tests this week.
Enjoy your new toy Roger, don't be surprised if it shows up late though.

I'd like to assure MaryAnne that this song is not about a certain NASCAR driver .

I know I could put this in 'One Word Song Titles':
Rubberbandman - Yello
1991 track from the eccentric Swiss duo. My CD single came in a great 3D rubber sleeve:
I picked up some cool, limited edition CDs and vinyl back then. There used to be so many good record stores in London - maybe four major chains and over a dozen independents. When I went back recently I found that the only surviving major store, HMV, had closed one of its three large West End stores and there are only about three or four independents of the ones I used to visit. I guess this is the price we pay for MP3s.
While we're on 'rubberband' songs, I thought I'd also include Rubberband Girl by Kate Bush. I must dig the single out so I can rip it to my computer.
Thanks Brian, these guys could give Rosco's '10 Million Dollar Sheriff' suit a run for its money.
