Is anyone going? I will be taking my 1967 Cooter's Wrecker there to display.

Thanks for the writeup, Roger!!!

Interesting article, Meadowmufn. Elvira must be a real catch, as she was pushing for the maximum jail sentence against John. Also interesting to see that they were in talks for another movie on the Hallmark Channel before Tom had his issues. Bottom line, he should have definitely gotten a prenup, and been more careful with his money over his lifetime. I’d still feel for the guy though, even if I wasn’t a Dukes fan.
-
By all accounts, John is a very nice guy. His mistake was not getting a prenuptial agreement with that banshee of an ex-wife. I got his autograph at the 2005 Superman festival in Metropolis Illinois. He stayed almost 2 hours past his scheduled time signing autographs for fans. I was near the end of the line, and his wife didn’t look pleased with him. From her demeanor, I’d gladly pay 18k a month to not be married to that demon!!

He’s a valued member of the site, and was a big help on the decals for my Cooter wrecker. Congratulations Hoss!

I second Chloe. Lana lost me after the whole dating Lex storyline. Plus, Chloe is a more “normal” person like Enos.

Didn't John do a nude scene in a movie once?
Rollman replied to DukesFan24's topic in John Schneider / Bo Duke
He probably thought, “it pays the bills!” It wasn’t some hardcore nude scene or anything, just a run of the mill love scene really. -

I’ve got the movie. It has a choppy plot, and it is cheesy 80’s action. Definitely not one that most people would buy, but I enjoyed it being a Schneider fan. -
Yeah, it’s a great show, very addicting. I live close to Metropolis, Illinois, so i went to see John Schneider when he made an appearance at the yearly Superman Fest many years back. That is what turned me on to the show.

I’d go, but April is right during the start of corn planting season, so I’m out. I just hope that some other member of the cast catches the reunion torch from Cooter. I would think that there would be a lot of money to be made in doing it.
-
It was a good movie, i would recommend seeing it. Death Wish is my all-time favorite movie franchise, and Bruce Willis did the role justice.
-
The wife and I are going to see the Bruce Willis Death Wish tonight. No one can beat Bronson, but I think he’ll do the role justice.

Facebook has useful purposes. I've bought quite a few rare car parts through groups that I am in. You can post as much or as little about yourself that you want. I've made several friends through it.

I'll be the first to admit, I've got a soft spot for Shania Twain haha.

What people should do when the national anthem is played: Stand--R.E.M.

Roger, I have a sister who lived in Clarion for a year, that is a beautiful part of the country. The people were friendly as well. If players don't like Obama or Trump or police or whoever, that is their decision. But to disrespect your entire country because of that is just stupid. I quit watching sports several years ago because I lost respect for so many of the players.

Kid With Whiney Voice ( A Boy's Best Friend?)
Rollman replied to Hobie Hartkins's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Episodes
I agree Hobie, I can't watch that episode due to the grating voice alone. I will give the worst episode award to "Strange Visitor to Hazzard". Along with the Coy and Vance episodes, I just pretend it never happened. In a strange way, I thought that Tom's performance in "Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Duke" was hilarious. -
He puts on a good concert, and he seems like a genuine guy. He has a pretty big car collection as well. His music from the 90's is pure country gold.
-
I agree on that as well. As a kid, I first became a monster truck fan in the late 80's early 90's by watching Trucks and Tractor Power on TNN. They also showed tractor pulls and mud bogs, then later on they had Monster Jam. I was also a fan of Trucks with Stacey David and the rest of the horsepower block. Then country star Tracey Byrd hosted TNN Outdoors, which had several good hunting shows. That was an All-American channel.
-
I wish that the The Nashville Network was still in existence. I first became a Dukes fan while watching it on TNN in the late 90's, it was a good country-centered channel. CMT used to be decent, but it has sadly gotten as bad as today's country music as well.
-
I just hope that a "new" person doesn't watch the movie before any of the tv series, and then automatically think that the show sucks just as bad.
-
Yesterday was a bad day for country music. I was a big Don Williams fan, and I got to see him twice in concert. He seemed like a nice man and put on a good show. Here is one of my favorites of his Mistakes - Don Williams

This is one of the few times where I like both the original and the cover version: Runaway - Gary Allan

Nice! It looks like it will fire up if you turn the key.

Doing a paper on the Dukes of Hazzard and i need help
Rollman replied to Bo Duke (01)'s topic in General Discussion
A very small minority of the southern population owned slaves, and those that did were very wealthy. It makes no sense that the southerners who were too poor to even be decently clothed would leave their wife and kids for months or years at a time to do battle just so a few wealthy plantation owners could still have slaves. Give me a break!!!
