  1. What? No, I need help! You have to help me! You're much more intimidating than I am...
  2. I must not be much of a trouble maker as I missed the birthday wishes from Roger on this thread. Heh heh! (Thank you, Roger!) Howevah! Brian is much the trouble maker! What's this about updating stuff? Wait just a pea pickin' minute heah.... *remembers there's a crowd outside, bordering on a riot* We got some unruly folks out there, cousin, and I was not sent to riot school...
  3. Wow, this is fantastic Hoss! It would definitely be a shame if WB ever tore down that lot. I would think they wouldn't since it's pretty historic for the studio and was used going back at least to the 1950s. I can distinctly recall an episode of "Maverick" and James Garner in a scene on the street infront of the bank. There's also a scene in the Burt Reynolds movie "Hooper" that I'm pretty sure was filmed on this lot at the gazebo. Isn't building 21 the boarding house, where Enos lived?
  4. Khee! Those are great! I'd say they capture the essense of the General.
  5. Chapter 8 is now posted. Only one more chapter to go!
  6. I have it on VHS, watched it several years ago. It is a good film. Creepy and freaky from what I remember of it. LOL
  7. MaryAnne replied to HossC's topic in Fan Art
    Ditto!! Hoss, that is fantastic!!
  8. Irk the powers that be? I didn't think we had any powers that be 'round here... Actually, posting a link to a story you've written isn't necessarily verboten. New users are moderated so your posts don't show up right away (until you've either made 10 posts, or we can tell you're a Dukes fan and we edit your status). If we see you've posted two or three of the same or similar post that are being held for moderation, we release one of those posts and drop the others. I sympathize with your frustration about the lack of reviews. Unfortunately, I've come to realize that whatever reviews you get, is what you get.
  9. Happy Birthday Ethan! Yer gettin' big!
  10. Right! The name of the band was right on the tip of my tongue! LOL Now, the paint supply store. Somewhere in the vast knowledge known as the HNet Forum, is a thread that shows some of the back lot of Warners and there's a picture of said paint supply store, with nothing behind it. LOL. Of course, can I recall with certainty the name on the store front? No. But I'm gonna take a guess and say.... O'Connor.
  11. Since I know you'll be looking at some point, Daney, chapter 7 is posted.
  12. I also agree it was Ezra. Also, sidebar as I was catching up on this thread I saw the question about the Starr Recording studio building and Hoss's link to the Google image of what it looks like now. Curious, I got to looking around the rest of the area (which is ALL totally different now from 30+ years ago. That parking garage across the street is really something! I-75 runs behind the recording studio and the spot where Luke made his famous "trip" over the hood of the General is under some serious road construction). Anyway, as I got to looking the area around I saw this... Ol' Jesse's still drivin' that white Ford pick up truck to Atlanta every now n' then... KHEE!!!
  13. There's an online guestbook for Paul at Legacy.com via the funeral home handling the arrangements. It looks like the funeral service took place this past week. http://www.legacy.com/guestbook/DignityMemorial/guestbook.aspx?n=paul-baxley&pid=149124979 I lit a candle in Paul's honor.

    muddyK welcome to HazzardNet!
  15. Nah, you'd never abuse the power. Provided we don't count all the years of altered posts, mysterious chatroom incidents and accidentally zapping Alex so badly once that it took two weeks and a system reinstall to bring him back.
  16. Well, so much for meeting THAT challenge! Man, where'd the time go?? I still wanna rewrite the episode I'm thinking of doing tho' at some point. Obviously deadlines aren't of any motivation. LOL
  17. Welcome to HNet!
  18. *cringes at the sound of the tin plate against the bars...and then looks at the cookies now spilled on the floor since said plate had JUST been filled* Well. No more cookies fer you! *looks at Brian* Looks like she's gonna be a fiesty one. Whatchya got in mind for bail?
  19. *walks into the booking room with a HSCD duffle bag slung over shoulder. Notices the new occupant of the jail* Well well well and well! Lookie who we got here! Another jail victim---er, I mean our Supreme Superior Commander Chief Executive heah! *looks in the cell, sees the cookie plate is empty* Oops! Looks like we need more cookies. How's sortin' the fanfics going? *puts duffle bag down and retrieves a fresh box of cookies. Refills the plate* Need more milk?
  20. It is, as a matter o' fact. LOL. I neglected to post here that I had posted it up. And for those who didn't know, I have moved my fanfic to it's own website. http://blueinkfiction.com/
  21. MaryAnne replied to Brian Coltrane's topic in Movies
Woah...a movie using REAL cars??!! Sweet! No comment on Cage, but the dude playing Satan's right hand man seems really good. "I'll see you when you're 73. I'll see you in 3 months..." GAAAAAHHH!!!
  22. Hear, hear!! I totally agree. Thank you, Bo James, for reminding me why I, too, love this show.
  23. Howdy Cwakefld, welcome to HNet! I'm stumped on your question tho'. It doesn't sound like anything familiar to me that I can recall. Maybe someone else can pinpoint it better.
