Very sad. The news over here has been so concentrated on the passing of Tony Curtis that I hadn't heard about Stephen J Cannell. I tried to find an interview with him that appeared on a 2005 Channel 4 show called 'Bring Back The A-Team' - it was all on YouTube, but seems to have been deleted. Most of the interview is here: Skip to about 2:30. WARNING - contains some mild bad language, and worse in the comments - why can't people comment on YouTube politely?. It's great to see that y'all have fond memories of Mr. Jones, points all 'round. Brian, don't feel too bad for Mr. Jones. I hear Warner Bros re-hired him in 2005. Apparently he wrote the screenplay for a movie based on a popular TV series - did anyone see it?. Q. In 'Swamp Molly', Cooter's paint job is so convincing that Enos thinks Luke is driving a real ice cream truck. After some initial indecisiveness, what are the 2 flavors that Enos eventually chooses between?. -

Thanks for posting the video Brian. Looks like Dirk is driving a 1980 Turbo Trans Am (4.9 litre), as far as I know, Mason Dixon's is a 1979 non-turbo (6.6 litre). The 'screaming chicken' faces the other way on the turbos, and the hood bulge replaces the shaker hood.

Sorry Roger, it's a bit geeky. Linux is another operating system for computers - a rival to Windows. Lots of different companies make their own versions, one of the best known is Red Hat.

I took MaryAnne's suggestion as a challenge. Due to the fact that only 250 of these were made, reference photos were, as predicted, hard to find. The conversions were done by National Coach Engineering of Michigan - you can see some of the survivors here: http://www.firebirdgallery.com/national_coachlot1.htm I had to guess the interior a little, and I gave it a manual gearbox as I couldn't remember what the real car had. I've also omitted the gaffer tape that covered the Trans Am logo on the trunk - if you've never noticed it, there's a picture of it in The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread.
