  1. Is it Hal Williams? He was also on 227 with Alaina Reed - Hall, who was married to Kevin Peter Hall, he was in Dukes episode "Closing Night At The Boar's Nest."

Well done Daney, only you playing this one. Hal Williams played Jonas Jones in 'Cooter's Confession' and Officer 'Smitty' Smith in 'Sanford and Son' (a US remake of the classic British comedy

). I think '227' was another series that was not shown over here, but thanks for the connection (I'm sure you meant 'Opening Night At The Boar's Nest' :)).

    Q. Can you name the guest actress from season 1 of Dukes who gave Colt Seavers his bounty hunting work in season 1 of 'The Fall Guy'?. To keep up the MASH connections, she also appeared as a nurse in the 1970 movie.

  2. Great work James. I used to use a graphics tablet at work, but it was for digitizing logos and typefaces. They were very handy, but you can forget XP, I was using DOS :). I never had the software or the talent (or the budgies) to use it for drawing freehand - what software do you use?.

  3. They did a countdown called 'TV's Greatest Cars' on UK channel Sky One a few years ago. I thought I'd just be able to Google a list or find it on YouTube, but it obviously didn't make much of an impression. I did find one list of the top ten which I couldn't double check, but seems about right from memory:

    10) Mini from 'Mr. Bean'

    9) Ferrari Testarossa and Daytona Spider from 'Miami Vice'

    8) BA's van from 'The A-Team'

    7) Ferrari 308 GTS from 'Magnum P.I.'

    6) Lotus Elan, Bentley, TR7, XJS and XJC from 'The Avengers'

    5) The Batmobile from 'Batman' ('60s)

    4) Del Boy's 3 Wheeler van from 'Only Fools and Horses' (popular British comedy)

    3) Gran Torino from 'Starsky and Hutch'

    2) KITT from 'Knight Rider'

    1) General Lee from 'The Dukes of Hazzard'

I think the sequel, 'Movies' Greatest Cars', had James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from 'Goldfinger' at #1.

  4. Everyone got Bernard Fox (eventually ;)). He played Iggins in 'Southern Comfurts' as well as the aforementioned Col. Crittendon in 'Hogan's Heroes' and Dr. Bombay in 'Bewitched'/'Tabitha'. Thanks for the Col. Hogan facepalm pic MaryAnne.

    Q. Which 'Jive'-talking police officer from 'Sanford and Son' found himself temporarily on the wrong side of the law in season 6 of Dukes?.

  5. I know this commercial has been around for about 18 months, but they're showing it again over here (presumably while everyone is on their post-Christmas health kick :)). I'm posting it because the song (Dan the Automator's cover of the Sugarhill Gang's 'Rapper's Delight') has been in my head all day.

  6. Well done General and Roger, it was Clifton James (I thought it would have been too easy if I'd also mentioned his 2 appearances as a sheriff in '70s James Bond films).

I'd never argue with a person who just saw a movie last week so I'll agree.

Otherwise I would have picked Grady Byrd (Dick Sargent)

Roger, your mention of Dick Sargent reminded me of another 'Bewitched' cast member.

    Q. Can you name the last surviving adult cast member of 'Bewitched' who guest starred in season 2 of Dukes, as well as an episode of MASH and several episodes of 'Hogan's Heroes'?.

  7. Everyone got that one, dukefan1 being first.

These trivia questions are getting tougher all the time! I'm just going to tiptoe out of here now since I'm clueless....

Brian, they may be tough, but these Hazzardites are a clever lot - I haven't tripped them up for weeks :).

I'm sat here watching the 1976 movie 'Silver Streak' starring Gene Wilder and Ricahard Pryor and a familiar face just appeared.

    Q. Which Hazzard sheriff also appears as the sheriff in 'Silver Streak'?.

  8. Here's the Mean Green Machine from season 5. For those of you that don't watch the Coy and Vance episodes, it first appeared in 'The New Dukes', and returned in 'The Return of the Mean Green Machine'. This was one of the easiest projects so far due to the body being mainly straight lines, although I only had screengrabs to go by.

Like the camo patrol car I did recently, the paint job is not indended to be an exact copy, I was just going for the general look and feel. I based this version on its second appearance in 'The Return of the Mean Green Machine'. The only differences (that I spotted) are the wider flap on the front to allow for the magnet, and the scoop and spiked wheels are rustier.
