F1 is on its summer break, so I thought I'd break a habit and use his thread to post some NASCAR news. While celebrating his win at last weekend's Xfinity race at Watkins Glen, Connor Zilisch managed to fall from his car. He was taken to hospital where it was discovered that he'd broken his collarbone. Luckily, he saw the funny side when the hospital gave him a "Fall Risk" bracelet following his anesthesia and posted a picture on Facebook.

I'm just watching S3E01 of 'The Fall Guy', and it reunites Lee Majors with his bionic co-star Lindsay Wagner. While it's mentioned above and in another thread that Jimmie Best taught Lindsay Wagner, her imdb trivia page says that before acting she was a regular babysitter for his children, and it was as a result of this that Jimmie recommended she tried acting classes.

I've never heard of Shining Time Station. Before it became Thomas and Friends, it was simply The Railway Stories by the Rev. W. Awdry, and that's what I grew up with. Although I know that Ringo Starr narrated Thomas and Friends when it changed its name and came to TV, I haven't seen many of those episodes. I used to have LPs with the stories read by British TV presenter Johnny Morris. He was best known for presenting a zoological kid's TV show called 'Animal Magic'. He'd narrate it and do voices for the animals.

The writers never paid much attention to consistency with place names and locations. However, both Seminole Canyon and Seminole Road are mentioned in 'The New Dukes'. Seeing as the Mean Green Machine is spotted "headed east on Seminole Road" and Vance says "We gotta catch them before they reach the end of the canyon", I think we can assume that Seminole Road leads either to or more likely through Seminole Canyon. BTW. In 'Follow That Still', Rosco tries to block the APC at the bottom of Seminole Hill. I doubt if this has any connection, and the writers just recycled the name over the next few seasons.

All of my Dukes DVD sets are in slimline DVD cases with two DVDs per case. They are available on eBay. I'm not sure exactly what the foldout ones look like.

No one seems to have told the rest of the world as your post from yesterday is the only occurrence that Google could find of that version. You definitely left out the word "might" from "Someday the mountain might get 'em".

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc took a surprise pole for today's Hungarian Grand Prix ahead of the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. Charles' team mate Lewis Hamilton described himself as "just useless" after qualifying 12th. Charles managed to retain first place off the start, against the run of the last couple of races there. Lando made a good start, but got squeezed back to fifth with George Russell and Fernando Alonso getting by. Lando got past Fernando by the time the top three pitted, but decided to stay out for a one-stop race while most of the others were stopping twice. That decision proved to be crucial as Lando just held off a very fast Oscar in the closing laps to score McLaren's 200th F1 win and their fourth 1-2 finish in a row. Charles was not happy with Ferrari's strategy, and finished fourth after being overtaken by George. Fernando and Gabriel Bortoleto got their best results of the season in fifth and sixth, with Gabriel also winning driver of the day. Fernando's team mate Lance Stroll took seventh to make it a double points finish for Aston Martin. Red Bull were uncompetitive this weekend with Max Verstappen being beaten to eighth by Racing Bulls' (their junior team) Liam Lawson who was demoted from the top team earlier this year. The top ten was rounded out by the second Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli. You can see the race highlights here. There's now just nine points between the two McLaren drivers as we head into the summer break. The next race is the Dutch Grand Prix on the 29th August - the first of the ten races left in the 2025 season.

I Googled the lyrics to save having to retype them, and had to go to the second results page before I found the fully correct words. With so many wrong versions around, it'd be good if HazzardNet had them right.
