Great Utterances from Rosco P. Coltrane
I think it was because he said it so matter-of-factly and straight-faced that made the scene so hilarious.

C'est La Vie!
Don't know why, but this song popped into my head after chatting with Pendragon about how there's not much time for fun anymore because work takes up so much time... Got a job That's ok But they got me workin' night and day Punchin' in, punchin' out Is this really what life's all about? Whatcha Gonna Do, Whatcha Gonna Feel? I don't know Whatcha Gonna Feel, Whatcha Gonna Do? Won't someone tell me Whatcha Wanna Say, Whatcha Wanna Do? There's only one thing left to say Whatcha Wanna Do, Whatcha Wanna Say? C'est La Vie, C'est La Vie That's just the way it goes (That's Life) C'est La Vie, C'est La Vie That's just the way it goes (That's Life) . . . UGH.

School sucks
That's why I decided to commute instead of live at college. LOL. Though, I do know a bit about sharing bathrooms. I have 3 siblings.

School sucks
I would LOVE to go back to school. Less responsibility, fewer bills (if you can live at home and commute). If you don't like a class and want to drop it, you can, which is much harder to do with a job. Like Brian said, ya get summers off. I miss summer off. <sigh>

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning ( direct to DVD movie)
Sounds like the movie's not just lowbrow... more like knuckle-dragging.

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning ( direct to DVD movie)
I'm not sure we ever have serious situations on HazzardNet... unless MaryAnne trips over the plug.

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning ( direct to DVD movie)
Wasn't this a thread about the new Dukes Prequel movie? This has gotta be the most off topic thread I've read in a while. Somehow, though, I think it'll be more entertaining than the actual movie....

Ewww....
Somehow, I don't think I'm all that hungry for breakfast anymore.

new DOH electric slot car set available Dec 2006
Awwww.. doesn't look like it has a jump like the old one did. I had the racetrack set they put out in the 80's when I was little. For some inexplicable reason, my patrol car NEVER made it over that jump and the General Lee did. I think it was sabotage. LOL.

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning ( direct to DVD movie)
If all we were wearing were kid gloves around here, I'm sure we'd get plenty of attention.

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning ( direct to DVD movie)
I'd pay good money to see that!

saw a general lee in town.
- Congrats to MaryAnne, Employee O' The Month!
I agree with Brian's sentiments above. MaryAnne is the glue that holds HazzardNet together, when she's not busy accidentally makin' it self-destruct. "Hmmm.. what does this shiny button do?" Khee! All kidding aside, I really do appreciate all the time, effort, and love MaryAnne puts into this site. -Mufn- Nameless Hazzard Holiday!!!
You gonna ship a piece o' that cake out this way?- Christmas comes earlier every year....
Elves and grinches and deer... oh my. Khee!- New users - How do I get an avatar?
Do you have your avatar hosted somewhere else? I don't think we have the forums set up to accept uploads of avatar images. Let us know if you get any error messages so we can diagnose your problem. If you need hosting for your avatar, we recommend: Photobucket - Click here to join!- Christmas comes earlier every year....
Well, the nice thing about it is, since we haven't taken the lights down from last year, we won't have to go through all the trouble of puttin' 'em up again! Khee! It was kinda hard to weed whack around the animated deer all year tho' and I think some birds built a nest in our artificial light-up Christmas tree. For Easter, we put a nice easter bonnet on the Grinch and on the 4th of July, he wore a big Uncle Sam top hat. Khee!- Christmas comes earlier every year....
I don't know about y'all, but they're already whippin' out the Christmas decorations around here. And I thought it was strange to see Halloween stuff in July. LOL. Just 106 shopping days left! Y'all better get busy. Khee!- HazzardNet Moderator Aptitude Test!
Is it THAT obvious?- HazzardNet Moderator Aptitude Test!
I don't think so, if you voluntarily enter said environment. And like I said, you'd have to be a few fries short of a Happy Meal to wanna work here.- HazzardNet Moderator Aptitude Test!
You're the one that said it, not me...- HazzardNet Moderator Aptitude Test!
And if you thought by taking this test, you might actually get to be a moderator on this website or if you actually WANT to be a moderator on this website, I suggest you seek professional psychiatric help.- 01-003

- 2006 DukesFest Experience
I can understand why there are some complaints. The same issues keep coming up year after year and some folks get frustrated that they haven't been taken care of. One of the reasons the same issues keep coming up, however, is that DukesFest is growing exponentially and it's hard to anticipate how huge it's going to be. Yes, a lot of work needs to be done. But there are just some things that can't be fixed... unless, of course, we clone the cast members so they can sign more autographs. (Not a bad idea!) LOL. There's only so many folks that 7 cast members can meet and sign for in a day. I do believe that they should try harder for the car owners. They go to much more expense than most of the other fans. But signing every car is also kind of unrealistic. That would probably take a whole day in itself. Like I said, some problems are next to impossible to solve. You'll never do it all in one DukesFest. All I can say is, if you go to DukesFest next year, set your priorities on who is the most important to meet and what's most important to see. Get there early and be prepared to wait. - Congrats to MaryAnne, Employee O' The Month!
