Thanks for posting those TRP Coltrane. Read the Gordon article yesterday and really have to agree with him. I hope they don't move to more technology than they already have. Especially if it means that they won't be able to pass very much on track. Always love it when Gordon qualifies well, but would hate to rely on that only. It is just as great to see him be able to move up the field and pass everyone during the race as it is to qualify well. Would find that very discouraging and frustrating. Would love to visit Jr's small town. Have heard of it and saw it on the tv I believe, but it is great to see it again. Almost forgot he had that!

Love this song...as I do with most of McGraw's music. In fact, am excited about his new CD coming out this Tuesday! The CD this song came on was the very first CD I owned...given to me by my sister!

Have liked Hnet on FB for awhile now, though if I could like it again, I would. Love the short videos you send on there...makes me remember why I love the Dukes so much. Also makes me realize just how much I miss watching the show...due to the lack of time I haven't put in a DOH DVD in a long time. Shame on me! Thanks for the updates...and thanks for all you do on this site. You help keep the great show of the Dukes of Hazzard alive and kicking!

Well I just got some great news on my Facebook account...guess I'd get it at NASCAR.com too, but since I went to FB first, I got it there first...but through NASCAR.com if that makes sense. (I have liked NASCAR.com so their posts to their page goes to my page...) Anyway...Roger you're gonna love this...David Ragen has found a ride in the number 34 Front Row Race. He will join David Gulliland in their two car team. He will be driving Fords...Guilliland drove number 34 last year, but will be racing in the same team, but under the number 38. Oh I got a fun fact for you Roger...if you ever in Georgia, you may have to look it up. David Ragen owns a Ford Dealership in South Georgia. Then again, must be a popular side job or business choice for drivers to own a car dealership since Jeff Gordon has one. Think Mark Martin has one...Am starting to see a trend here. Though if I am understanding correctly, Ragen is going to have to qualify into each race whereas with Rousch, due to owner and car points, he was always locked in. He is already locked into Daytona's race since Guilliland finished within the top 35 in points....

Nice pics TRPColtrane. Like the one with Gordon's car in it best car out there if you ask me. As for short tracks...I love Bristol. Bristol is on my top favorite tracks. Is a track I've been to for Dukefest and is a track Gordon is good at. Night racing at Bristol is the best! Feb 26 can NOT get here fast enough... The King's number...43 days left!

Whoa Roger...doesn't seem like much time between seasons? Are we talking about the same sport here? LOL. NASCAR off season takes FOREVER...and in case y'all are wondering, there is 44 more days until the season starts at Daytona. 36 days until the Budshootout...that I WILL watch and am looking forward to. Well Roger, glad that the off season is going by fast for someone at least...for me, it is slowly dragging on. Leaving me to wonder if it will EVER get here. TRP Coltrane...I love every race, but I have to admit, do not like the whole drafting that comes with restrictor place racing as of late. Will be VERY happy if they are ever to get rid of that. I miss the old style Daytona and Talledega style of racing. Where everyone was going for the win. Where there was actual speed on the track. And where it doesn't depend on whether you have a partner or not in order to win the race as it does with the whole drafting scenerio. For example: The fall Talledega race, ten laps to go, Trevor Bayne was with Gordon after Martin had problems. They were in the top ten, could have gotten the win for any one of those two drivers. Instead Jack Rousch gave Bayne orders to leave his racing idol, Jeff Gordon, and to go help Rousch driver Matt Kenseth who lost his partner. Long story short, Bayne left Gordon and Gordon finished way in the back - can't remember where. But all because he was left without a drafting partner at the end of the race. (Bayne and Kenseth finished outside the top ten somewhere it seems...) The old style of racing, that wouldn't have happen. So if they can find a safe way to prevent that drafting, I will be VERY happy. But as I said, I love every race...but do admit that even though once Daytona and Talledega were on my list of favorites, last year they weren't on my list of favorite tracks due to that (except for the Daytona 500 of course...the Super Bowl of NASCAR!) Well there is my two cents on the subject of drafting...

In case y'all are wondering...and I know you are...there is exactly 47 days left until Daytona 500!!!!!!!!! FORTY-SEVEN looonnnnnnggggg days! Once again, I've got a bad case of NASCAR WITHDRAWL! *Shakes head* Last year was rough, this year is rougher knowing they added an EXTRA week to the off season. Last year at this time I was saying 40 days until Daytona. Not this year.... This year, on January 10th, I am saying 47 days until Daytona 500. Seems like an eternity a way from now...

Another song off of their first album...sung by the youngest member Joe McIntyre - the video is performed after they reunited so Joe is older than 13. HA HA. As I said, brings back memories- probably listened to that album a hundred times or something like that. I apologize for all the NKOTB music, just been in the mood the last couple of days for NKOTB music so that is what comes to mind I guess. Please don't kill me for it. Besides, I can't help that I have great taste in music, right Hoss?

LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!! It was even more awesome hearing and seeing them sing this in concert. Just awesome...of course all this is my opinion and I could be the only one to like this song...heck I could be the only NKOTB fan here. All the same, love it!

Thanks for ALL the great info! Did't watch DW, but did get to watch some of Dale Sr...though mostly remember him being a rival to Jeff Gordon. LOL. In 2001, the only race I watched was the Daytona 500 where Dale sadly passed away. What a horrible day in racing and remember not believing he could pass away in a n accident that looked like any other accident you see in every race. Though he was NOT wearing the HANS (Head and Neck Support) device that was only an option at the time and now is mandatory for them to wear. Guess it was meant to be. Don't know why that was the only race I really watched in full other than that at the atime I really didn't know many drivers and didn't really understand it all as I do now. Was not addicted to it as I am now. Could definately not do that now - only watch a race or two. HA HA. Thanks again!

TRP Coltrane, thank-you for posting that! I loved that article and reading more on Darrell Waltrip. As y ou can see by my signature, I really like him. Though sadly didn't really get to watch him race at all . Though have seen clips and do love listening and watching him on FOX during the FOX races - he is just so fun and you can tell he just lives for NASCAR! Though, I sure wish I could have watched him and Richard Petty race as well as Cale Yarborough since he was on the Dukes. That was a great article TRP Coltrane - thank-you for sharing it. Ironically, Darrell won his first championship the year I was born. Musta brought him some good luck. HA! Have also read a few stories on him...like how Darrell and Dale Sr were the best of friends off the track and the worst of enemies on the track. Can't remember what year it was but it was the All Star race and they both were fighting for the lead on the last lap. Well they ended up wrecking each other - Darrell broke a rib or two in the process...and none other than Jeff Gordon went on for the win. As I said, I really enjoyed that article and am so grateful you posted this one and the one about Jeff Gordon. I didn't even see any of them online as of yet, so thank-you.

Well y'all, I got some pretty big news tonight...news that I personally find surprising and kinda disappointing and yet good too. All wrapped into one! Can't remember if I said anything but AJ Allmendinger has left Richard Petty Racing to take Kurt Busch's old car in the 22...that was a while ago. AJ is a good driver and am happy that he has found a new ride. But with Allmendinger out, that has led to an empty car for Petty...until now. Richard Petty has just announced that Aric Almirola will be driving the famous 43 car! Almirola has spent the last three season in the Nationwide after driving NASCAR Sprint Cup where he shared a ride with Mark Martin. My opinion is that I am happy for Almirola. Never felt like he was given much of a chance to show the Sprint Cup what he has and now he will have that and with a good ride. But am also disappointed that the King didn't hire David Ragen who is out looking for a car - would have been a great car for Ragen to drive. But I guess it was not to be and I am left hoping that him and Cassill will find a ride for next year - though there is very little rides open. Especially now that Richard Petty has filled his empty seat. I can't recall what was my first DOH episode. I was young...I was only four or so when they stopped making new episodes. Though I do remember watching it and not understanding why it was no longer on TV. It came back on channel that was TNN at the time in '96, but it wasn't until '97 when I got back into watching it. I was flipping through the channels and it was on...I think it was part two of "Ten Million Dollar Sheriff". Still remember the scene and all. Been hooked on it ever since...

Good point...with David Ragen out of Rousch now, who is # 6 Roger? Though I know what you mean...am glad to hear you are going with Ragen over Kurt Busch. But then again, I am not a Kurt Busch fan and all of that is my measely opinion that don't amount to anything. Ragen is such a great kid and has a lot of potential. Still don't think Roucsh gave him enough chance to grow and mature into his ride. As for me.... GO #24 - Jeff Gordon's drive for FIVE is ON!
