Troy relaxed resting in his daddy's hold, the tickle fight having taken a lot of his energy.

"Love Daddy..." murmured the small boy around his thumb.

Troy cuddled closer into him, his thumb finding his mouth.

Troy sniffed hugging into him more. " If you do I'll cry hard," said the small boy honestly.

"Promise?"

Luke shook his head. "That don't prove nothin...Uncle Jesse helped birth lots of babies...don't make you a Duke."

Luke raised his eyebrow at Bo. This was souning more and more like a ploy for sympathy..the question was...why? He raised an eyebrow at Bosilently asking him what he thought. (cue BoJames)

"You'll leave me...like Mommy..."

Troy started to cry clinging to Bo. "I didn't mean to be bad...I didn't..."

Luke cocked his head a little to the side. He wasn;t sure where that information came from either...and he wasn't sure if it was just general information, or if it was a passive threat. His posture became a little stiffer, just in case.

Troy's lip quivered. "She don't want me no more....does she?"

"Bo...cool it," said Luke in a low voice. It was true that he was used to keeping a reign on his cousin's temper. But the fact that he was mouthing back to a stranger they didn't even know gave Luke cause for concern. He knew from his time in the Marine that friends should be kept close, but your enemies closer. He didnt trust this fella one iota... and he didn't want to start something without knowing exactly what he was up against. (cue Bo James)

"Daddy? Will mommy be at home too?" asked Troy hopefully.

Troy sniffed. "Okay Daddy," he said softly.

"I won't hafta get more shots after this one?" he asked with a small whimper.

Luke didn't buy one word of the story. And he knew that Bo didn't either. "Look...why don't ya go back where ya came from..." Turning tail he followed after Bo to the General. "Bo...wait up!" he said easily catching up to him. (cue Bo James)

"But Daddy..." whimpered Troy. "The pricks hurt..."

"I don't want no more!" he whimpered, his bottom lip quivering big tears rolling down his cheeks.

Luke could feel Bo's uneasiness...and he couldn't blame him. Putting his hand on Bo's shoulder, he steadied him. Then calmly, in an effort to keep the tension from his own voice from showing. "So, wha did you say you was in town for, cousin?" he asked, the word cousin coming about a bit more sarcastically than he had planned. (cue julie Duke)

"No! No no no no no!" shouted Troy backing away.

Troy pouted but only for a moment, the thought of getting out of the hospital making him too happy to be sad for long.
