"You ain't got nothin' to be sorry for Troy...the reason I didn't come for ya was because I didn't even know ya existed! Your mom never told me..."

Bo swallowed hard for what felt like the hundreth time, looking back to Troy before taking a breath and gently reaching over, picking him up into his arms and holding him close.

Bo swallowed hard and looked to Jesse, not knowing what to do. This was why he stayed away from kids, he wasn't good with them.

Bo nodded softly. "Yeah Troy...yeah I am...and believe me I never knew about you...I didn't know you were my son until this mornin'..."

You got a deal...but I dont need you to introduce me to Cindy Lou, I done some introducin' of my own *wriggles his eyebrows with a grin*

Bo sighed and sat down in the chair by the bed. "Troy...I didn't know anything about you...I'm really sorry..."

lol Roger! I am so gonna write a fan fiction and include Luke calling Ernie Outta Luck Ledbetter...I can so hear him hurling that insult at Ernie! lol And the answer is as DaisyMae says, Hard Luck Jones.

Cassius Claibourne (Ha ha here's a hard one, all these were too easy) I was due to go hunting with Bo before he fell and got amnesia...who am I?

Bo sighed and shook his head, swallowing hard as he crossed over to Troy. "Troy...I...I know this because...I...I'm your dad Troy.."

Bo swallowed and started to step forward, shaking his head and saying softly. "Troy...that...that ain't true...I know fer a fact...that ain't true...your daddy didn't even know about ya..."

Bo looked over to Jesse, watching him and Troy.

Bo looked up at the cieling...it was true he didn't love kids...in fact some of them could be downright annoying and boy when they got to teenagers did they get moody...but Diane had made him to be some kind of uncaring monster in Troy's mind, even if he didn't know that Bo was his father. In a way he supposed he was sort of behaving that way, with what he had been saying before....the thing was, it was more the shock of maybe being forced into this responsible life of a parent than have a choice whether or not he entered it or not...

Yeah that's always a possibility, but the great thing about those inconsistencies is you can make of them what you like. Some are annoying, like Jesse's wifes names, which I firmly believe to be Lavinia but others are great for fan fic writing and speculation on what may have happened and the like.

Bo shook his head and looked down at the floor...more than anything he had wanted Diane...he never even knew that she had been carrying a child.

Bo swallowed hard as he looked out over the hospital grounds before glancing back at where Troy sat, frowning a little. "Wh...what makes you say that Troy..."

Bo's hands were trembling a little as he stood up, crossing to the window in an effort to replace the air that had been knocked out of him at the revelation.

Bo near fell out of his chair when he saw the locket, glad that he had put Troy on the bed before when Troy had been stretching over to hand Uncle Jesse his Teddy. There had only been one girl with those initials...and one girl he had given that locket too...

Bo nodded softly, gently pulling Troy's arm back in. He didn't like to see that anymore than he liked to see the needle actually there making the mark. "He ain't afraid of them though...he just dont like em do ya Troy..."

Bo watched the exchange, noting Jesse's startled expression and knowing also why it was there. "Troy don't like havin' injections Uncle Jesse..."

Bo held him as close as he dared, wishing Troy wasn't so attatched to him as he walked into Jesse's room quietly and said softly. "Uncle Jesse...this is Troy...Troy...Uncle Jesse..." He crossed to the bed and sat down on the chair with Troy in his lap.

"I'm sure he'll love ya Troy..." Bo said confidently though even he wasn't sure really, before he told Troy to wait while he talked it out with the doctors, both Troy's and Jesse's. After getting the all clear, he helped Troy out of bed and into his arms, carrying him down to Jesse's room.

"Not too far...but if your still tired I can carry ya down there..." Bo reasoned, really wanting Troy to see Jesse before anything bad happened to either or both of them. He needed to know what to do.

"I wondered...if...if the doc's said yes...if you'd come down and meet him...he's like to see you..." Bo asked gently.
