Garrett Duke struggles off Hobie while watching everyone fight over moonshine. "Amateurs," he scoffs as he abruptly turns right onto an off road area. He braces himself through the rough terrain and swipes left to miss a fallen log before the path abruptly turns back onto the road and Garrett laughs to see Hobie several car lengths behind him now.3 points -

My name is from the character on the show ( he was in 2-3 episodes) and he was the town drunk. I got his name because I like to drink but I'm not an alcoholic ( about 3 beers at one time......I know....I'm a hard core bad boy!! LOL! ....also because he's funny. I know it's probably a bit different since instead of mentioning the Dukes it was actually made for the TV movie from 2007 (I know) but the song Duke Boys Swingin' with John Anderson and Cowboy Troy is a really good song. Cowboy Troy's bit actually describes the show perfectly.3 points -

Growing up Dale Earndhart, Jr was my favorite. When I played the NASCAR game most recently I played as Danica Patrick for the fact she was a girl but never saw her race. The one I really like to root for now is Frankie Muniz.3 points -

For the first time in the race Jesse takes the lead. And the timing couldn't have been better. Emma made it down from Iron Mountain on her back up dirt bike just in time to stop at the intersection to watch the race. And what a sight it was to see her man in the lead on her very own postal dirt bike. She caught the corner of Jesse's eye and distracted him. He looked at her with a big smile and gave her a thumbs up and she blew him a kiss. It was such a distraction that he didn't notice a big rock. He hit it and it threw his bike off to the side and Skipper passed him with the Minnow in tow. Jesse's Yamaha then ran into the dirt where it hit another rock with such force that it catapulted him and the bike into the air and two seconds later, right into the Minnow. Lucky for him and the Yamaha they both landed on the pile of life jackets unharmed but clearly out of the race...... .......or were they? It would be unwise to ever count out crafty and wise Jesse Duke.3 points -

Feeling the freedom of no one in view, Garrett allows his car to slow a bit to give the powerful engine a rest a bit while resting back into his leather seat. He finally glances into his rear view mirror and his heart skips a beat as he sees Jesse's vehicle come across the curve and into view. Sitting up in his seat he presses the accelerator down forcefully the car jolts forward with increase speed. "Eat my dirt, Jesse," he says aloud with a confident smile.3 points -

Definitely a shocker. So sad to hear that his wife, kids and family have lost him and that millions of his fans will never see him race again. ABC News showed a snippet of his interview after his last race where he said each win was special because you never know when it will be your last. Chilling.3 points -

Keeping his attention on the race, Garrett refuses to fall into everyone's competitive talk and pushes the pedal down farther and a hint of a smile crosses his face at feeling the great power of the engine. Passing Jesse, he gives him a slight respectful nod, before speeding up front. (Sorry y'all I've been away from my computer a bit.)3 points -

My visit to Cooter's in Luray

I’m over a month late to this but I just made my second visit to cooters in Luray on May 1st. I was passing through anyway so it was a perfect stop to eat and rest. It was my first time trying the restaurant but it was amazing. Unfortunately all the events were happening at the Nashville location but it’s always an awesome visit. I’m exhausted as well we did 3,000 miles.3 points -

Jesse is really excited about this race. He has never been one to embrace technology but is making an exception. After Rosco caught Elon Musk in the celebrity speed trap, Jesse and the boys broke him out of jail and in order to return the favor, Elon agreed to fix up Emma's dirt bike and convert it into a technologically superior racing machine that is only programmed to dominate races. It simply cannot lose. Unlucky for Emma though she broke her collar bone jumping a 60 foot wide creek two days earlier so asked Jesse to take her place. Filled with confidence that technology and AI simply cannot fail, Jesse was already daydreaming about that kiss Emma was going to give him in the winners circle.3 points -

Garrett watches in amazement to see Skipper literally jump ahead of him before anger settles in. "Ain't no way no boat is gonna beat Spittin' Cobra!" he states as he aggressively fights his way besides Skipper. Garrett forces a smile at Skipper and a wave while yelling out his window at Skipper, "Nice move!" With that he goes off track a bit to gain some momentum before weaving back on track to cut Skipper off.2 points -

Why are people so hard on Coy and Vance?
RogerDuke and one other reacted to Road Pirate for a topic
I love Coy and Vance! No disrespect to anyone because it's not the actors vault but I would rather watch some Coy and Vance then ANY episode without Rosco or Cooter. As in their "replacements". I'm a way Coy and Vance are obviously meant to be copies but they still feel like their own guys. Way more positive and cheerful almost cartoonishly so but it has a charm that works. Have Lester try to act like Rosco after being introduced as some mean dude the blunders seem so forced it doesn't work at all. Same with Cooter's cousins when he sticks his tongue out the exact same way Cooter would. Coy and Vance had the same lines but they were delivered differently and I enjoy it. Plus who doesn't like seeing Enos and Cletus share a squad car in season 5?2 points -

From cootersplace.com: Our Smoky Mountain journey began in Gatlinburg back in 2002, where so many wonderful memories were made through the years. Later, we brought Cooter’s to nearby Pigeon Forge and continued building something very special with all of you. Now, after nearly a quarter century in the Smokies, we are preparing for our final season there. For the rest of this season, we’re planning a wonderful lineup of events, celebrations, reunions, stories, music, laughter, and memories with the people who helped make The Dukes of Hazzard such a lasting part of American pop culture. We are especially excited to welcome Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat, Byron Cherry, and Jeff Altman during this closing season, along with the wonderful staff here at Cooter’s who have loved and cared for our visitors through the years like family.2 points

"10-4 Thanks Skipper but the only tour I'm interested is the tour of the winner's circle with Emma planting a kiss on my cheek. But I don't really have much chance of winning now. I was stupid and trusted that tech junk when I should have known better. Maybe she will give me a sympathy kiss." In the meantime, Emma had given up on tech too after her computer blew up along with the one hooked to Jesse's dirt bike. Since there was no way she could use her remote control back up, she hopped on her other dirt bike and started down Iron Mountain, hoping to make it to the finish line before the race ended. She knew Jesse would need consoling after what he had been through.2 points -

Well I know Daisy will kiss me at the end and ride around the track with me on my victory lap1 I was hoping Garrett would be coming by for the start of the race but if he doesn't show until later, it's up to him, to make up the distance! I guess we can start it tomorrow! Make sure everyone knows on the CB.....broadcast it! We'll start out at the Boar's Nest, as usual and then circle the track ( about a mile around) and see who ends up at the Finish first! ( At the Boar's Nest of course!) It's only a 400 lap and not a 500 lap race.....I'm not sure certain people can keep sober for 500 laps! LOL!!2 points -

Jesse is here sitting on the dirt bike and his only job is to put the kick stand up when the race starts. Everything is going to be done remotely by Elon in his office and by Emma who is looking down from the peak of Iron Mountain. This is going to be an easy win for Team Tisdale. The bike has been programed by the biggest tech genius in the history of the world and it's only command is to win the race at all costs. Emma's role is actually pretty minimal. She is really only going to be there to make minor adjustments and take the remote controls as a back up if something goes wrong.....but that is not likely to happen because technology is superior to humans and nothing can possibly go wrong. The race is in the bag. Jesse can sit back, relax and let the Elon Muskcycle do all the work. High tech is gonna shine in the Moonshine 400. You people who are stupid enough to not believe in technology are gonna learn how superior it is.2 points -
