I double-checked before posting my reply above, and every source I found said it sank on the 15th. The iceberg hit was late on the 14th.

The Titanic left Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland on April 11th, 1912, hit the iceberg just before midnight on the 14th, and sank on the 15th. BTW. Cobh is pronounced like "cove".

I'm starting to celebrate DOHD a little early with some old No. 7 ( The doctor says beer might make my esophagus, which he operated on, bust open, so I'm going to watch DOHD after Jeopardy and then later tonight, I'll try to get back on here and tell you what I'm watching. Cheers to Jack Daniels ( RIP) and old No. 7. Sour Mash! * Interesting note- Jack Daniels is a world famous, very popular whiskey and it's made right here in Lynchburg Tn.! ( Moore county) a dry county, which means it's illegal to serve alcohol at restaurants and you can't buy alcohol anywhere in the county but No.7 is made in the distillery and shipped OUT of the county!
