They were talking about this on a financial show today. They have the same problem in the summer when people are running air conditioners a lot. People don't drive a lot in an ice storm but they drive a lot in the summer so are going to be charging their cars a lot. Proposing changes make folks feel good but they don't mean anything if they can't be implemented practically.

I'm surprised more cars didn't fail inspection since I read Nascar is using a new laser scanner to check the body tolerances out this year.

Haven't measured it yet but we at least got 9-10 inches overnight. I went out to clean the cars off just in case the wife got called into work. If she does I'll have to take her in my car as the plow driver buried her car behind a 18+ inch snow wall. Yesterday was a long day. Found out the tires on my wife's car aren't worth spit even in a couple of inches of snow, about slid into a mound of snow. My dad apologized and said he didn't know I wanted the snow blower when I told him last week yes I'll go half on it, call up your brother and tell him we'll take it. Sometimes with my dad it just feels like I'm banging my head on a wall. Then while shoveling one of my customers driveway their neighbor yells at me accusing me of throwing snow on his sidewalk even though it was the plow that came through before I got there. Since I wasn't packing and I've been warned ahead of time that he's an alcoholic druggie nutjob I just shovelled the three feet length of snow that I supposedly threw on his part of the sidewalk. I've heard some crazy story's about this guy from other neighbors so I figured it's best not to poke the bear. When the wife got home I told her that's why I want to move to the country, I'm sick of dealing with jerks. Roger bundle up and be careful shoveling, it is really cold out there especially with the wind gusts.

Of course they will because NASCAR fans love races! (I don't care who you are, that's funny right there)

Michael McDowell won the Daytona 500 when the two Penske teammates wrecked in front of him. I watched the replays on youtube this morning and was surprised that it was basically single file on the last few laps. This is his first Cup victory in his 14 year 358 starts career. At least now he'll be remembered for something other than surviving that horrendous practice crash at the beginning of his cup career. All the drivers walked away from the crashes this year though I bet Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are nursing some pain this morning. Here's the top ten. 1 Michael McDowell 2 Chase Elliot 3 Austin Dillon 4 Kevin Harvick 5 Denny Hamlin 6 Ryan Preece 7 Ross Chastain 8 Jamie McMurray 9 Corey Lajoie 10 Kyle Larson Next Sunday will be the Daytona road course race.
