The Georgia boy has won it all. At 24 years old Chase Elliott becomes the third youngest driver to win a championship. Only Jeff Gordon and Bill Rexford were younger. He and his father Bill are only the third father/son duo to win championships. The other two were the Pettys and Jarretts. Chase won 5 races this year and since his father was mentioned on Dukes and he is a Georgia boy he is Roger Duke's favorite! Nice job Chase!
  2. So sorry to hear about that Skipper. Hearing about a death is always a shock even if it was awhile ago. You have my sympathy and prayers and so does your family and Roger's family.

Hello Christine! Now don't let Laura or Roger fool you! We do more than throw bad jokes around! Khee! I think I do real good jokes. I must say, I am the normal one! Khee! I drink strictly Apple Juice at the Boar's Nest, though I have to press the apples myself 'cause they only sell buttermilk! Oh yes, Roger, I did see Laura Duke pourin' a little Eggnog in her buttermilk. I will attest to that! I hope that you two didn't scare Christine away. It seems she left the post for awhile. I am sure you two did a thorough job of scarrin' her out of here! I apologize Christine, if you are anywhere to be found! Khee! Khee! Khee! In the words of Boss Hogg in "Witness for the Persecution" (although it is not bed time yet!) "Good Night, Sleep Tight, Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite!" General Grant

Don't let Laura fool you Christine, she's been known to tip a few buttermilks down at the Boar's Nest too. Word has it that some of the Hazzard folks caught her mixing a little egg nog in it. I hope she's not lactose intolerant. (We'd better be careful Laura, these bad jokes might be scaring the tourists away)

Hi MiniHogg! I don't know if you remember, but I chatted with you once, I believe. And I remeber I had a great time getting to chat a little. So, I'm really happy that you finally introduced yourself! Good for you. Since you already have been here, you probably have already met a number of great Hazzard fans on this website. Hope that you keep on posting, it wouldn't be the same without you. And welcome just the same! Khee! Khee! I'm gone! Laura Duke

Howdy, nice to meet you. *smiling* Welcome... pardon the occasional insanity, there are sane topics as well - unless of course you like insanity! LOL! But really, always glad to have you along.
  12. Hi y'all. We have just learned last night Sat 11/7/20 that our contractor who did our work at home has killed himself in his truck sitting at a red light back in March 2019. Please pray for me, my family, Roger McGinnis and his family. Thank you my Dukes of Hazzard/HazzardNet family.
  13. Cousin Roger yep it's sad.
  14. Thanks Cousin Roger! Yep it is shocking! He was a nice man. We don't know why he did such a terrible thing.
  15. Happy Hazzard Halloween!

In Night of the Living Dead, I always assumed the cemetery zombie towards the beginning was just one that had popped out of his grave & was part of the beginning of the whole “zombie apocalypse”. So...where did he/it come from?
