Ok, I finished up The Mean Green Machine. I used legos, foam board, an old film canister, and the chassis of another Dollar Tree jeep.
Que weird Mean Green Machine music......how many of y'all can hear it in your head ?
This Is really awesome....and yes I do now have the music in my head....LOL. I see there's no gun sticking out through the opening so I guess we're all safe for the moment at least.
Have the horn on order.Inspiration to build the tribute car was seeing examples of it. My step dad has been in my life, he rescued my mom and I from bad times. My bio dad left mom while she was pregnant with me. He also inspired me to enlist in the Marines, did 10 years in there. He did his time in there too
Thanks for giving me a place to, Rog, I am very grateful!
Also grateful to have finished this beast in record time...
Re-chromed the bent bumpers and other parts with Alclad, and was lucky to have located the proper wheel hubs. Also broke the right door handle to match the real thing.
Wide tires from the MPC Sheriff's Dodge Monaco.
Windows tinted with Future floor polish and food coloring.
Sheet metal for the front and back from a disposable roasting pan from the Dollar Tree.
Airbrushing dust and dirt all over the chassis and bottom of the body.
