I used to post quite a bit on CGLFC and stepped away from the Dukes/Charger scene when my Charger had an unfortunate accident. I recently decided to get the old boy up and running again and dust off my Dukes collection for my son's 01st birthday, and was sad to find many of the old Dukes websites gone. Happy to find this one intact, and the photo thread is absolutely EPIC.
What's funny (to me) is that casual observers of a General sometimes comment that the General isn't correct because it has the flags in the back or the "wrong" pushbar. The wide bar and lack of crossed flags out back are what most people think are correct, when of course, both are. I'm a narrow fan, myself.
I happened upon the video below yesterday while looking for something completely unrelated to Dukes. It's an episode of the Sally Field series 'Gidget' from 1966.
As I was watching, a familiar face appeared. Peggy's only in it for about 20 seconds (4:22-4:42), and she's rather rudely credited simply as "Fat Lady".
Interesting article, Meadowmufn. Elvira must be a real catch, as she was pushing for the maximum jail sentence against John. Also interesting to see that they were in talks for another movie on the Hallmark Channel before Tom had his issues.
Bottom line, he should have definitely gotten a prenup, and been more careful with his money over his lifetime. I’d still feel for the guy though, even if I wasn’t a Dukes fan.
I've checked with Roth to see if he didn't mind me posting pictures I've collected over the years. He's given me the go ahead so he's a few of the ones I've collected over the years.
Now I know the forum better i found out about the views, And i can't thank you guys enough for looking through it. Even if you do not comment. Yeah, and he didn't speak loud enough either.
Thanks for your comments. I'm sure Hazzard Square used to be Roger's favorite thread - he's so fickle . I never cared much for the guy on the right. I always thought his acting was a little wooden .
Thanks to you Hoss there's a lot of things related to the Dukes of Hazzard that I've never seen before and now I can add another to the list. This is the first time I've ever seen an older picture of Peggy. Thanks so much for sharing it. I sure miss her. What a beautiful lady Peggy (and Lulu) was!
