I just found out that the reason why the Dukes movie has been pushed back to August 5th. The reason is that Warner Brothers have made 2 car movies for this summer. The Dukes of Hazzard and a new Herbbie movie.. They have decided now to put out the Herbbie film first. Someone at Warners must have thought it was a better idea to do this.

I'm buying the 1975 movie Moonrunners and I going to watch the new Dukes movie. I've heard that Moonrunners is horrible, but I also know that Moonrunners was the inspiration for the Dukes of Hazzard. With all the hype that is going on with this new movie, I'm starting to feel like this movie will be a real turd. I thought, to make things interesting, I would watch both films and see which one has better characters, better car chases, and, pretty much, which one is the bigger disappointment. If you've seen Moonrunners put in your two cents.

I don't think the new cast will bring the original classic feel from the show. Johnny and the um... (i forgot his name) (Bo) i dont think they will be very good for the part, but i still want to see the movie to see how it turns out. Jessica is questionable she kinda looks the part (attractive) but her reputation just makes me wonder. on the other hand Willie Nelson I think will make a perfect Uncle Jesse......... What do you think? let me know.

I want to take our almost new 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 to a custom paint shop, and have it painted like the General. (Attention all you Photoshop folks) Anyone that can do one in PhotoShop so I can see what it might look like, I need your help! Anyways, I put a 12 note Dukes horn on the truck a little while back and ever since then I've been thinkin about it. Cool idea, or bad?

Of course, this goes to show how off the information wire I am. I haven't been able to get online fer a long time and now I do, after I find out about the movie coming out!! I'm really excited, but I have to admit, not sure if I like the picks fer the characters. With maybe the exception of Willy and Bert. *giggles* I absolutely loved the Reunion. i'm starting to see august 5th on all the movie web sites. that is a new development, and would explain why we havent seen an official web site or a trailer. but thats a long time for post production, which is not a good sign. dont be suprised if some legal issues were raised by warner brothers. at any rate, i deem this a set back

I've been reading this forum since the announcement of the movie and I have been reading all of the posts. I love looking at all the pictures and videos everyone has been posting. My only problem is going through all the posts to find ALL the pictures and videos taken from the movie. I was wondering if someone has all the links and can put them in one section. We all know that the casting director could have done a better job with a list of names, a blindfold, and a dart, but I would imagine that most people here are planning on buying the Season 3 DVD set, which comes with a free ticket to the movie. But make sure that you buy it before the movie comes out, those "free tickets" are usually only valid during opening week. That way, we can complain about the apparent flaws in the upcoming movie and still not have to hear "just give it a chance." I was just watching my tape of TLC's Rides and got to thinking how I would make an "Exteme Lee". I would put more chrome on it for sure. The cow-catcher on the front would be chrome as would the rims. I'd put some kinda 18 polished aluminum racing wheels on it. I love old muscle car's with 18 on them. I do the interior something the King Ranch editions of Ford trucks with different shades of brown leather and saddlebags. Instead of a 440 magnum I'd put a 426 hemi. The paint job would stay the same except I try to maybe to have a subtle 01 on the roof outlinged in the rebel flag to make it look more NASCAR.

Okay, Johnny Knoxville is Always going to be best known for his MTV series Jackass and Jackass The Movie. Now ive seen his parts in Duces Wild, MIB 2, Walking Tall, Gte Shorty. He really isnt that bad of an actor, Suprisingly! However a bit of a persons personality Always leaks into the character at hand. And dont be so swift to judge. Hes an Actor. What if the Hogg Burt Reynolds plays is really a nephew or something with the exact same name as the original JD? The film could open up with a scene where Burt is sitting behind his desk counting cash, with a painting of the first Boss Hogg (may he rest in peace) on the wall in the office. Yeah, the latest Hogg is tall and skinny, but still a Hogg for money. Here's something else not related. I'd kind of like to see Shiriff Cotrane with a promotion or two under his belt. Like give him a couple more men to command, or something like that. A way of showing that even Hazzard county evloves with the times. Anyway, that's my two cents. Can't wait for Daisy and the General.!!
