If this new "review" of the movie is true, which I doubt, there's alot of inconsistencies. First, the person says that the car starts off orange with different fonted numbers on the doors, but the flag isn't on it until after the first jump when it's wrecked? It's not even called The General Lee unitl some hillbillys help fix the car and that's when the flag is painted on along with "General Lee." I've been reading this forum since the announcement of the movie and I have been reading all of the posts. I love looking at all the pictures and videos everyone has been posting. My only problem is going through all the posts to find ALL the pictures and videos taken from the movie. I was wondering if someone has all the links and can put them in one section. Now, it comes to mind... will the new sets of "Cops N Robbers" type police pusuits live up to the original series? lets be honest guys, not many flicks (aside from gone in 60 seconds) have the best of the best chases. and the original stuntmen had it down to a damn art! the cornering, bumps, etc. think its capable to make it better or at least live up to it? im gone. -Brad

I just found out that the reason why the Dukes movie has been pushed back to August 5th. The reason is that Warner Brothers have made 2 car movies for this summer. The Dukes of Hazzard and a new Herbbie movie.. They have decided now to put out the Herbbie film first. Someone at Warners must have thought it was a better idea to do this.

i'm starting to see august 5th on all the movie web sites. that is a new development, and would explain why we havent seen an official web site or a trailer. but thats a long time for post production, which is not a good sign. dont be suprised if some legal issues were raised by warner brothers. at any rate, i deem this a set back

I don't think the new cast will bring the original classic feel from the show. Johnny and the um... (i forgot his name) (Bo) i dont think they will be very good for the part, but i still want to see the movie to see how it turns out. Jessica is questionable she kinda looks the part (attractive) but her reputation just makes me wonder. on the other hand Willie Nelson I think will make a perfect Uncle Jesse......... What do you think? let me know.

Of course, this goes to show how off the information wire I am. I haven't been able to get online fer a long time and now I do, after I find out about the movie coming out!! I'm really excited, but I have to admit, not sure if I like the picks fer the characters. With maybe the exception of Willy and Bert. *giggles* I absolutely loved the Reunion. Though I wish they could still bring in Tom, Cathrine and John fer their characters! Ahhh, I miss those days!! Reminds me of bein a kid back home in Florida!
