hello fellow duke fans. New member here. Have been a fan of the show for a while now. Use to watch it every night after college class at 12AM on CMT until it went too 7Pm and im in class then But yea the best show on tv. Saw the movie, it was good, but just not the same. Also I live about 2 hrs from covington Georgia where the show was filmed. And Im planning to save up for an old dodge charger and make my own general lee. Josh

Hi fans, New forum writer here. I posted in another section saying that I am new here, but have been watching the show since it was new on TV. I have met Tom Wopat in person while he was doing a show in Michigan. I asked him if he is doing anything with John. He didn't know. That was back in 1989. (Tom freguents a theater in Augusta, MI) read about it on a website!!! The theater is only 1 hour drive from me. So, right now...I want to find out if anybody is traveling to Cooter's place to meet any of the other characters? Let me know..

Hey All! I'm in the Atlanta area and would like to visit as many spots as I can where the Dukes of Hazzard was filmed... can you help?

I am on the lookout for original Dukes of Hazzard episode scripts. The information I really need is the draft stage (first, second, third, final, etc.) and the draft dates for each script. This information can usually be found on the first two pages of the script. If anyone has authentic Dukes scripts laying around, I would sure appreciate your help. I would settle for photocopies of the first couple pages of each script, as long as they have the information I need on them. I would even be willing to pay for the photocopies (within reason). I would prefer final drafts, but earlier drafts are perfectly acceptable. Here are the episodes I need script information for: 166862…

Probably only those of you who grew up watching the Dukes in its original CBS run will know what I'm talking about, but do you remember midway through the show, during a commercial break, they would show that same shot of Waylon's hands and guitar, playing a snippet of the theme song, which faded into a shot of the General Lee flying through the air and Waylon's voice saying "Dukes of Hazzard will continue" and the General was then freeze-framed in mid air? They also did the same thing as the show was coming back from the break, only there was no voice-over from Waylon, it was just the music playing over the shot. Hey y'all!! I don't know if many of y'all have noticed but I haven't been around for a while. I went off to the Gaeltacht (Irish college) for a week, I was meant to be there for three weeks but I only managed one week. I'm doing basic Irish in school, and while I'm good at it when I went away I was completely lost and could barely manage a conversation with anyone. So I had to pull out after a week. When I got home I began clearing out the accumulated bikes and scrap parts I had in my garden and garage. I'm now down to my last pile of junk, and have finally got things organized in my garage. Hello, trying to figure out what some of the items are on the Boars Nest wall. In season 2 you could see a blue neon sign that looks like it says "Nesel" next to a poster with two women that sayd "From Me to You". In episodes 17 and 18 season 2, you could see them. Curious if anybody has ever figured out what those were. Also curious about a sign near the door in those episodes with a little Indian who looks to be holding a beer tray. It seems to be written in Spanish. Thanks

OK here's my problem, I'm having trouble naming my car, so I would like some suggestions. Alittle about my car; It's a 1972 Volkswagon beetle convertible Orange with some black, and has a black convertible top. So far I have only come up with one name, Comet, which I don't really know about, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and I will tell y'all what I decide on later.
