A couple things Ive noticed in the inside covers of the 2 season DVDs: Season 1 DVD, in the pic with the crash between the General, the COP car, and the black car, the door of the General Lee is slightly ajar(supposed to be welded shut). Season 2 DVD, in the pic with the patrol car, the General and everyone posing,on the front license plate of the patrol car, the confederate flag is airbrushed out. (that kinda pi--ed me off)

This thread is to compile a list of real things that the actors used and put on the show and made them into Hazzard County things. 1)For example, in his book "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" Ben Jones mentioned (page 33 and 65) that him and his Uncle worked for a mechanic named Stump Rountree when he was a young man living in Virginia. Stump Rountree was an unseen character that was mentioned on the episode "The Canterbury Crock" 2) Hard Labor Creek (page 154 of the same book) was mentioned in "Dukescam Scam" 3) Rosey Walker (page 232) is from "Enos and Daisy's Wedding" 4) Peach Tree Road (page 177) is from "Heiress Daisy Duke" 5) Jim Bronke was an attorney whose n…

I notice they do that a lot, and don't see anyone do this in real life until a couple months ago, I seen seem teenagers sitting on the car door. I used to do that sometimes until my Dad said it looks silly, and isn't polite or something like that.

Hi folks, Please read below for a transcript of a recent e-mail sent to me from Warner Home Video UK. I had sent them an e-mail enquiring as to why the episodes of DOH had been released onto DVD randomly and whether there would be any season boxsets. Here is the reply; "Thank you for your note on the Dukes. To answer your questions, the reason the non-sequential episodes appear on the DVD is because these were the only episodes we could get clearance for in the UK at the time and we felt that it would be better to put some of the episodes out on DVD rather than put nothing out. Since we have put out these episodes it looks like we have kick-started further interest in the…

Decided to take a last minute 6hr drive down to Pottsville for the first time to meet Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat, Jeff Altman, and Miss Alma was amazing meeting the cast. It was from 12-5. We waited in Catherine’s line from 12 until just after 1. She was so nice to talk with and will have a conversation with you despite the hour long line to meet her. She joked around with us and has a great sense of humour. Will definitely go back to meet her again. Tom gave out autographed CDs and was very funny as well when he was trying to put on 80s hits on his phone. His line was only 10 minutes thankfully as I couldn’t do another hour in line. Some people told us he wasn’t nice and …

Does anyone know what year season seven was shot? Because I'm currently watching it and noticed a 82 to 92 Camaro and I didn't think that they filmed that long.

Did any of y'all cousins besides me notice the flub in Hazzard Connection? When Luke is ramming Augie & Shoulders in the slammer car, it is the slammer car. But in the close up shot of Luke he's magically in General Lee.

I have an ad in my Sunday paper from Wal Mart saying the Season 5 DVD is now being released on November 8th. That is the only place I have seen that earlier date listed though it makes sense because the theatrical movie DVD release was just a week apart from it in December (6th and 13th).

The cast was great, their General Lee was faithful, but somehow it was a disaster. I only liked the city scenes, seeing the General Lee being driven out of the garage, and Jessica Simpson looking hot back then. This music video rocks even to this day.

Hey y'all I was watching Witness for Persecution earlier and noticed a couple of flaws in the slaw. The first is when Enos pulls up at the Duke farm to talk to Bo and Luke. As he pulls away the camera pans out to a wideshot of the farm yard. Anyone notice anything at the right of the screen? The second is when the two hit men are backing out of the tunnel. There's a brief shot of the interior of the car. Anyone notice anything in the background? And finally the crew for that episode must also have worked on Bullitt, because the cougar is constantly seen with hubcaps missing in one scene and on the car in the next scene. Maybe someone could post a screencap or two of the s…

Hazard made the national news today because the Energy Secretary was there to announce easing of rules that restricted the use of coal in making electricity. Hazard is a coal town and will benefit from the new rules so that's why it was announced there. I remember when the cast of Dukes went there to help with a fundraiser when miners were trapped. At the time the show was in its heyday so it was a pretty big national story.
