I cannot, for the life of me, remember which episode it was in, but I seem to recall there was a scene where Boss Hogg cut out a string of paper dollar signs. Anyone remember which episode that was? Or am I hallucinating? LOL.

Y'all... There's a site called bit chute for old classic TV series, and they have a channel that has The Dukes of Hazzard on it. They have all 7 seasons all 147 episodes. Not just scenes like TV Stunter on YouTube has. Plus bit chute has no ads, and it has the whole intact theme song, episode, closing theme song. They're uninterrupted. It's just like a DVD. Goes off where breaks are and right back on again. I think they skip that "Tonight on the Dukes" episode trailer bit before the theme song for fair content use, since they're using the opening theme song, the episode and closing theme song. The episodes are great don't get me wrong, but when watching Dukes of Hazzard I'd much rather see Bo & Luke than their replacements. Oh, and the jumps General Lee made I just love it. As cool as KITT is, never as much as the General. 😆

I'm one of the younger dukes of Hazzard watchers (I'm 21) as my dad had all the DVDs when I was younger and we'd watch the show all the time. I'm looking for the episode with a specific scene that won't leave my head. Bo is driving the general and Luke in the passenger seat, and I feel like someone else was in the car with them. There's a truck coming the other way, Bo swerves around it. He says something about being a great driver, and then another truck comes. He swerves round that again and Luke says 'how did you do that twice' (or something along those lines). I'm sure there's more to the scene then that but that's all I can remember and its really annoyin…

This is one of my favorites, of Season 7…ultimately being the season premiere! I remember watching this when it originally aired! I love the flashbacks, and seeing things from 8 years before…Boss was thinner (ol’ Sorrell finally got to do an episode without the fat suit ), Rosco has this ridiculous mustache , and Uncle Jesse wore this fedora type hat instead of his trademark red ball cap. However, there were some definite inconsistencies & inaccuracies. First, the Charger that eventually became General Lee was referred to as a “68 coupe”, by a junk dealer. Not only was the General a 69 (as we all know), but the black Charger used (before it supposedly was t…

I’m sorry, but I’ve always thought it was unrealistic & strange that Boss Hogg’s dad is #1: still alive, but #2: he basically looks to be barely a few years older than Boss. Also, he doesn’t look like the kind of man who would have gotten with Boss’ momma, under any circumstances —going by what we know she looked like, with her portrait Boss has (just sayin’).

I’ve never been a huge fan of the Coy & Vance episodes…nothing against Byron Cherry or the late Christopher Mayer, they did the best they could with what the situation was. But, they were just sadly part of one of the dumbest & worst decisions Warner Bros. television & CBS ever made. And, I’m sorry but…even their “yee haws!” were cringe-worthy. However, one episode of their 19 episode-run on the show really makes me shake my head…”Coy Meets Girl”. It guest stars a young Michele Greene, who just a few years later got her stardom as ‘Abigail Perkins’ on the legal drama L.A. Law. But, Greene looks 25 when I think she’s supposed to be around 16 in …

I watched Season 3’s “The Legacy” again tonight. I’ve always enjoyed this episode…from when I watched it as a child, when it originally aired…to all the times since. I even enjoy Lucinda’s big ol’ red 1965 Chrysler Imperial Crown convertible—after Cooter fixed her brakes! But, I really enjoyed actress Jan Clayton’s portrayal of Uncle Jesse’s (and Boss Hogg’s) old flame…Lucinda Meadows. She was was right in-there with the old ridge-runners, and held her own…even after knowing her late husband had been a terrible moonshiner, lol! I actually wish they’d of brought her character back a few more times over the years…and then actually have her & Uncle Jesse…
