  3. Rosco got on the CB "You dipstick deputies. Where are you anyways?" Enos and Cletus looked at each other while the 4 Dukes, Cooter, Bill and Ernie watched and listened. Cletus told Enos to answer "After all, you are the senior deputy." Enos quickly responded "But you are the county commissioner's cousin...er, second cousin twice removed, er whatever you are." Cletus "Um, yes but I can just tell by Rosco's voice that he ain't none too happy." The CB rang out again with Boss's voice this time. "Now you listen here you lugnuts, one of ya better answer or you will both be working in the Hazzard County Sewer Department as taste testers!" They fought their way to the CB but Enos got there first. "Yes sir Mr Hogg and Sheriff Rosco. We are up here on Willow Drive just past Jensen's Hollow at the old Duke still site #4." "All right" responded Rosco. "I know exactly where that's at. Now don't let anybody get away because if you do I'll give you a job that is even worse than taste tester at the sewer. I'm gone." Cletus grimaced "Yuk, what could be worse than that?" Jesse had a disappointed look on his face. "I tell ya what can be worse than that. Spending the last 40 years thinking still site #4 was a secret and finding out the law knew about it all along." A minute later a distant siren was audible. Daisy panicked, what are we gonna do now?! Oh my! I think I'm going to faint. She fell on Enos who fell on Cletus and the 3 of them hit the ground like dominoes.
  4. If you don't mind we will just use worm poo as the response and to that I will respond: manure

  6. I was thinking about that today that they should have just finished the race today. I really don't understand why they didn't. And the fact that it affects Kyle Larson's championship chances due to their choice just to end it, is rather upsetting to me. They better waiver it. Yeah he stayed for the rain delated Indy race, but he's been working and practicing for that for some time now. If they are upset, they should make it a rule that they can't run in both races beforehand. IDK. He made the effort to make the race...NASCAR canceled it.

    NASCAR news

This is interesting since NASCAR decided to call the race last night even though they could have finished the last 150 laps today. Since they did that Kyle Larson is now out of contention for the championship because he didn't make it in time from the delayed Indy 500 to run any laps in the Coke '450' race last night. NASCAR could give him a waiver which they most likely will do, then again maybe they aren't happy he decided to stay and run the rain delayed Indy 500 instead of the Coke '450'.
  8. Good job of getting the quote right Skipper. I knew it was something like that. I can always depend on you!

    NASCAR news

Tuesday is when the news will be official about what is happening at SHR. My guess is they sell 2 charters and become a 2 car team again keeping the 4 and 14.

  12. Well they haven't gotten any of my money so that should tell them something. Oh wait...maybe that's because I don't have any to give them. LOL. I understand all that, but if that's what people want to see then they should watch the demolition derby and wrestling. My opinion of course. HA. They just better keep all the drama away from Elliott and his Hendrick team mates. Thanks for the recap Hoss. That sounds like an exciting race.

    NASCAR news

Today's Monaco Grand Prix ended up as a pretty dull procession. Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc took pole position at his home race, with championship leader Max Verstappen only able to qualify sixth. Max's team mate, Sergio Perez, was knocked out in the first qualifying session, but started in 16th after the two Haas cars were moved to the back of the grid due to a technical penalty. The two Haas cars and the Red Bull of Perez were all involved in a crash on the first lap which brought out a red flag. Alpine's Esteban Ocon was also out on the first lap after a collision with his team mate, Pierre Gasly. Since the red flag allowed all the teams to make their mandatory tire change, most of the race was just about tire management as none of the leaders needed to build a gap for a pit stop. Further down the field there were a few gaps and pit stops, but for the first time I can remember, the top ten finished in the same order they started. Charles Leclerc won his first Monaco Grand Prix for Ferrari with his team mate Carlos Sainz Jr in third. Splitting them was McLaren's Oscar Piastri in second. Off of the podium were McLaren's Lando Norris in fourth, Mercedes' George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in fifth and seventh, and Red Bull's Max Verstappen in sixth. Carlos Sainz Jr was probably the luckiest driver after a small coming together at the start took him out with a puncture on the first lap, but he was allowed to take the restart in third (his original starting position). Monaco is a unique track on the F1 calendar with its tight, historic street circuit, but pit stops, crashes and weather usually give us a more exiting race. Let's hope that the Canadian Grand Prix in two weeks will give us more entertainment and maybe even another different winner. You can watch the highlights here.
