  2. I assume you mean Barney Benson - Barney Miller was a 1970s/80s sitcom starring Hal Linden. Each episode that you named includes a late-70s brown Ford Econoline van, but there are differences. The one in 'Big Brothers, Duke' appears to be a lighter brown and has tan or gold stripes along the sides. Although '10 Million Dollar Sheriff' and 'Trouble at Cooter's' are consecutive episodes, I spotted difference there too. The van in '10 Million Dollar Sheriff' has a roof rack, bars on the rear windows, silver trim over the wheels and along the sides, and the interior of the rear is painted in a dark color. Note: When Rosco pulls it over and it crashes off-road, the van changes to one with round headlights when they are rectangular for the rest of the episode. It would be possible to remove the additions and repaint the interior to change the appearance for 'Trouble at Cooter's', but my guess is that they were all just similar vans.

  5. HossC... The brown van driven by Barney Miller in Season 5 Big Brothers Duke, is it one of the ones from Season 4 Trouble at Cooter's and Ten Million Dollar Sheriff?
  6. Good one Roger. Lol. Because everything is red thru Hobie's eyes.
  7. Did you feel the earthquake Hobie?
  8. How can you tell it's blue? I thought it looked red to you.
  9. WHOGG 1090 on the radio
  10. Yesterday
  11. yes, in the South, it's def. sweetened! I bet uncle jesse had VINEGAR on his table! ( a lot of people in the south do!)
  12. Only if you wear it to go juking. Otherwise, you're an escaped convict!
  13. I assume that would be sweetened rather than UNSWEETENED tea? The only time I recall tea being mentioned was in 'The Fortune Tellers' when Rosco says, "Tea leaves. I'll read their tea leaves." under his breath after sending the fortune tellers on their way.
  14. I've got a blue shirt.....!!!! Can I be Bo Duke and not know it?
  15. I wonder....Hazzard Shine is good, especially mine, however, how good is Hazzard southern TEA?
  16. sure we do! Meatballs!
  17. Spaghetti Do you guys have spaghetti hoops in tomato sauce?

  19. In the commentary to 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke', they talk about how the cars they used had automatic transmissions when they were supposed to be stick. The gear shifting sounds were probably dubbed from a stick. They also say that they drove everything from 318s to 440s. Cathy asks asks if some of the 440s had a Hemi shifter. Tom tries to correct her by saying "Hertz shifter", but I think he meant Hurst shifter. Either way, John says on the commentary that they all had slap shifters.
  20. Please stop assuming that similarities make things the same and posting them as if they are facts. A couple of days ago you claimed to have seen the Sanford and Son pickup in Hazzard Square when it was just a similar model. While the shirt that Leeman steals is a similar plain blue shirt to the one that Bo wears when they go "juking" in 'High Octane', it's also similar to a lot of other blue shirts in the show including the one worn by Luke in 'Happy Birthday, General Lee'. The shirt that Hammer steals is red plaid, but the pattern is different to the one worn by Bo in 'Happy Birthday, General Lee', and his has long sleeves while Bo's has short sleeves. Please also consider whether these observations require a new thread. You've already started a thread of Easter Eggs, and there are are probably other places this could've gone. Spreading information across multiple threads makes things harder to find and less fun for people to access.
  21. Yes - you posted the same thing six months ago in this thread (literally three posts ago on this page!), and also in 2020 in Uncle Jesse's Reviews. Luckily, Julieduke and Jessi Duke had already posted about this in 2007.
  22. Okay it looks like we have Hobie in the Trans Am. Garrett in a Jeff Goron NASCAR car. Me on Emma's mail motorcycle. Skipper pulling the SSMinnow with an F-350 dually. MM in Rosco's sheriff's car. Hoss in an orange F1 car. Boss, Spike, others, ya in? If we don't hear from people they're gittin' flat tires as soon as the race starts....but they will be starting.
  23. It was at a truck stop. It's the biggest truck stop around (Interstate 90) but it's still a truck stop with limited room so maybe they don't want too many people.
  24. That's pretty impressive Skipper. But I know you have a photographic memory when it comes to scenes from Dukes episodes so I'm not surprised.
  25. I love this line in Season 7 No More Mr. Nice Guy, during one of several bouts of Boss Hogg's amnesia thru out the episode. The bad guys kidnap him in a scene, and they knock his head on the roof, to subdue him before loading him into the backseat. Because he wouldn't hold still and tried getting away. Waylon Jennings:"So, they beddie byed Boss, an' hauled him out of town like a sack of Grits." Befitting since the Boss wears that White 3 piece suit. Grits are White.
  26. Did y'all know that before Tom and John walked out, the episode Coy Meets Girl was originally supposed to be titled A Bo for Bobby. Because of that girl Michelle Greene (Bobby Lee Jordan).
