Skipper Duke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
It's originally by The Band. But I have to admit I don't know and never heard their version. -

This is so cool to see someone discovering Tom's version of CC for the first time. I remember when it first come out. I couldn't get it out of my head. Not that I'm complaining! I still love it so much. Looks like it's stuck in my head again! -

Hello Tony Trout. If you have Facebook create an album for them title it Dukes Filming Locations or The Dukes of Hazzard Filming Locations or Dukes of Hazzard Filming Locations and upload the photos there, then you can free up storage by deleting them from your device. -
Good to have you back cousin Roger! I was beginning to wonder where you were! I almost sent out the Hazzard County Rescue Squad to find you! ( I'm a member you know!) Well fellow Hazzardites, I hope you all are enjoying the international holiday! Dukes Of Hazzard Day !! ( Happy DOHD!! ) I'm just about to earn my name, Hobie Hartkins....? I 'm sitting here looking at 3 cans of Natural Ice. I'm now drinking my first can and am preparing to watch my first episode! Just hold on with bated breath ( LOL! ) and I'll be back in a while and let you know what episode, in case you want to watch with me! I must confess and I hope this isn't a sin in Hazzard, but I'm waiting to watch the Jeopardy Celebrity show ( I gotta do SOMETHING to stimulate my IQ!) and then....it's off to Hazzard! What are you guys doing on DOHD???

Great, great photos & awesome memories of a wonderful show! And, I agree completely that you did a wonderful job of finding these pictures!!! The only problem? I'm going to have to buy a much larger external HDD to save these!!! ROFL!!! -
Just got HazzardNet back. They've been putting fiber optics in and there have been all kinds of issues. I think everything is good now. I'll catch up on posts later.

I'm closing this thread. The last post was 5 years ago up until today. Let's keep HazzardNet a politics-free zone. Politics can get pretty heated and I don't want political arguments here, just good vibes. Feel free to argue over the true paint code of the General Lee as much as you want.

I'm very surprised at how screen accurately detailed The Alan Hale Gilligan's Island Captain Skipper Jonas Grumby vinyl Funko Pop figure is. They even put his Captain Skipper Hat crooked titled on his head. 😲The only inaccurate thing though is the Navy Blue hat that like other merchandise like this uses. Should be Black. Otherwise perfect to a T with dotted I.

Hobie Hartkins replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
For reasons I won't get in to, the Confederate flag, which is totally fine and serves as a symbol to a noble cause, is being hidden, changed glossed over etc., even by sites and people who should know better and who are playing into the enemy's hands. This is why I've lost respect for Skynyrd and other web sites, and public figures who are cowards by bowing to the Leftist power. -

Just a little stat that amused me when I heard it yesterday. Sunday was also the date of this year's All Ireland Senior Hurling final (Limerick beat Galway 1-29 to 1-18). I know the global viewing figures are hugely different, but attendance at the hurling final at Croke Park in Dublin was 82,300. Attendance for the football at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was only 80,663.

Dukes II: Daisy Dukes It Out
Skipper Duke replied to 01 GENERAL LEE 01's topic in Games General Discussion
I found a blooper in The Dukes of Hazzard II Daisy Dukes It Out. In the end, when Daisy decks Missy she has her glasses on, and still has them on when she's on the ground rubbing her face. When Rosco and Enos pick her up after cuffing her and stuff her into the Patrol car, her glasses are gone. 😲 -
In the end of Moonrunners, did Jake Rainey suspect Bobby Lee and Grady Hagg blew up his Cotton Gin because after Bobby Lee and Beth drive off in the car, leaving Grady and Jake standing there, Jake grins at the departing car. Did he know he had been had by the Hagg Boys?

Been a bit busy but hope y'all are doing well! Been listening to the dukes of hazzard album on spotify! A lot of trivia in that album. Never realized Tom Wopat sang, what is now my favorite version, of Up on Cripple Creek! Also made the General Lee in GTA! Sadly no rebel flag but I put the "Norwegian" flag on my roof in the game cause it looked the most similar when going a 100 miles down the digital highway lol -

I remember a video I watched of the World Trade Center falling. It was in slow motion and you could hear the floors falling onto each other. The video I saw had a koosh koosh koosh sound. 😲

Kimi Antonelli took another pole at yesterday's Belgian Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen, George Russell and the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. World Champion Lando Norris had to start from 13th after he got a 10-place grid drop for using too many engine components in a season. Max briefly took the lead on the first lap before dropping back to third, and Lewis hit George, ending George's race and earning Lewis a 5-second penalty. After the resulting safety car, Max got back to second and Oscar Piastri moved to third before both Ferraris got ahead of him. There were a couple of short VSCs (virtual safety cars) which mixed the order a little through the pit stops. Lewis failed to receive the front wing tweak he wanted and knocked over a mechanic as he left the pits. The mechanic was unhurt, and although the incident was investigated after the race, it didn't affect the outcome. Despite being shuffled back to third in the pit stops, Kimi retook the lead with 10 laps to go and went on to take another win. Behind him were Charles, Max and Lewis. Lewis' fourth place was enough to move him to second place in the Drivers' Championship ahead of the non-finishing George. The race highlights are here. Next week's Hungarian Grand Prix is the last before the summer break, and several teams will have upgrades for the race.
