  2. What worked for me is that when I started drawing cars is that I started tracing images of cars. Then when I got more used to the shape of cars I would only trace some lines, and then fill in the rest. Until I got more of a feel for drawing cars independently. So I would say that the best advice I have is just to start at a level that you can work at, and work yourself up from there.

  4. In Season 4 The Law and Jesse Duke, since the building playing Boss Hogg's warehouse where he has the Jones trio Alabama and her brothers Simon and Floyd Jones hide stolen merchandise is the same building that was the J. D. Hogg Grits Mill in Season 4 Mrs. Daisy Hogg, in The Law and Jesse Duke, that building is on Dry Creek RD. So does that mean when it was the Grits Mill it was on Dry Creek RD. then too?

    NASCAR news

It was the third race in the F1 triple-header today with the Spanish Grand Prix. The McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris locked out the front row of the grid ahead of Max Verstappen, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Lance Stroll apparently had a pain in his wrist related to a cycling accident a couple of years ago, although there were also reports of him losing his temper in the pits after qualifying. Either way, he didn't start the race, so there were only 19 cars on grid (I'm not sure why his Aston Martin team couldn't use a reserve driver). Oscar had a good getaway at the start, but Max managed to jump Lando. Lewis also passed George. Lando got back ahead of Max on lap 13. The Barcelona circuit is known for tire wear, and Red Bull put Max on a 3-stop strategy when most teams were planning on a 2-stop. Max was looking certain for third place until Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes engine gave out with just over 10 laps to go bringing out the safety car. All of the front runners went to the pits to change tires, but Max only had a set of the slower hard tires available. At the restart, Max's car nearly went sideways, allowing Charles Leclerc to pass. Max then went off-track as George tried to pass, but came out ahead. His team told Max to give the place back to George. Max wasn't happy about the instruction and appeared to deliberately hit George when it looked like he was letting him through. That earned Max a 10-second penalty and three points on his licence (he's now only one point away from a one race ban!). At the end, it was McLaren first and second with Oscar ahead of Lando. Charles got his second podium in a row with George in fourth. Nico Hulkenberg in his Kick Sauber surprised a lot of people by passing Lewis near the end to finish fifth. Max actually crossed the line in fifth, but his penalty pushed him back to 10th. In ninth, former World Champion Fernando Alonso was cheered by his home crowd as he scored his first points of the season. You can see the highlights here. Oscar is now 10 points ahead of Lando in the drivers' championship. In the constructors championship, McLaren have over double the points of their nearest rivals, Ferrari, who in-turn moved ahead of Mercedes today. It's two weeks until the next race in Canada.

  21. Hey friends! πŸš—πŸ’₯ Did you know that the stuntmen from The Dukes of Hazzard actually owned a piece of the California filming location? 🀯 Henry Kingi, one of the talented stuntmen, famously destroyed a bridge during filming, and as part of the settlement, some of the money went towards repairing the bridge... which ultimately became known as the "Kingi Bridge"! πŸŒ‰πŸ‘ Talk about leaving your mark on Hollywood history! 🎬 What's your favorite Dukes of Hazzard stunt or memory? Share with us! πŸ’¬ #DukesOfHazzard #Stunts #HenryKingi #KingiBridge
  22. Season 5 Coy Meets Girl. Coy and Vance with Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco in hot pursuit. They're driving through national guard military war maneuvers, artillery shell fire. Rosco:"I knew those Duke Boys were tuff, but I didn't think they'd go this far!" πŸ˜‚ Rosco drives in a hole. πŸ˜‚ Boss:"Look what you done! We went in the hole!" πŸ˜‚ Rosco gets out. Boss can't get his own door open. It's stuck. Rosco walks over the hood to the passenger side to the back door to get Flash. Boss:"I can't get my door open! It's stuck! Not that many mutt! Save me! I'm your leader ain't I!?" πŸ˜‚ Artillery fire continues around them. They find another hole to hide in. Boss:"Rosco, so help you, if that car gets hit, you're gonna pay for it!" (KABOOM) They duck down. The car was hit. Rosco:"That must've been one of those 55 Pack Hausers! Done scuffed my vehicle beyond repair! Do you think I can make time payments?" πŸ˜‚ Boss:"You should only live that long!" πŸ˜‚ Uncle Jesse shows up in his White Ford F Series truck. Rosco:"There's Jesse!" Boss:"Oh Jesse!" Jesse:"You boys better get in here, before you're blown into the next 4TH of July!" πŸ˜‚
  23. Did you know? Byron Cherry, the talented actor who played Coy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, had an interesting background before joining the show. Not only was he a bartender, but he also worked as a male flight attendant! What's even more fascinating is that Byron initially auditioned for the role of Bo Duke in 1978, but due to his busy schedule, he couldn't pursue it further. The part eventually went to John Schneider, who would become iconic as Bo Duke. However, fate had other plans. When Tom Wopat (Luke) and John Schneider (Bo) temporarily left the show, John Schneider himself recommended Byron Cherry for the role of Coy Duke to Warner Brothers! Talk about a full circle moment! Let's appreciate Byron Cherry's multifaceted career and his contribution to the Duke family legacy! #DukesOfHazzard #ByronCherry #CoyDuke
  24. I'm thinking Golden Retriever!!
  25. That's a pretty good pic of Bo!
  26. I've finally finished a version of Puppy Bo that I somewhat like and feel good sharing. I decided to try something different with my art with this piece and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet.. but more will be coming when I figure out how to properly draw his face
  27. County (door county is in Wisconsin the β€œthumb” of the state)
  28. It appears in the dialogue too. In 'The Return of the Mean Green Machine', Vance says "See if you can get up broadside, close as you can." and Coy replies "Aye, aye, skipper." Skipper Ward Surplus was a nod to Skip Ward who was associate producer/producer/supervising producer on 116 episodes (I'm sure I've mentioned this before).
