Behind-the-scenes trivia alert! Did you know that Alan Hale's iconic Skipper hat from Gilligan's Island had a special tweak for filming? The hat's brim had a glossy sheen that was too bright for the set lights, so the production team used a clever trick: they applied frosted contact paper to matte down the finish! After filming, they'd remove the contact paper, and the hat would be back to its original glossy self. Mind blown, right? #GilligansIsland #BehindTheScenes #TVTrivia

Thank you Hobie . I haven't done very well as of late, I feel. The biggest race of the NASCAR season is Sunday night at the Coca Cola 600 in Charolotte. Last season, Christopher Bell won it. Kyle Larson will being going for the double header for the second year in a row. Racing Indy 500 and the Coca Cola 600 for 1,100 miles in one day. Or try. Last year's run was ran a little short due to rain and having to make from track to track in a shortened time span. Justin Allgaier started the Coca Cola race last year for Larson before Larson took over the 5 NASCAR car. Kyle Larson's quest to complete 1,100 miles, Part II | NASCAR I miss the older days where this was the house that Jimmie Johnson built. Well he didn't build Charolette, but he was good there. Hendrick cars run good here so I am hopeful for the number 9 car of Chase Elliott to have a good run at it... Thank you Hoss for keeping us updated on F1. You do a great job at it.

Some people just can't handle the truth! My friend Jason and I recently had a run-in with a collector who claimed his Black Skipper hat was from the original Gilligan's Island series... but we knew better. The hat in question has a machine-made sewn-on patch, which is consistent with the Rescue From Gilligan's Island TV movie and an Alf episode, not the original series which used hand embroidery. We respectfully pointed out the error, but instead of owning up to it, the collector blocked us both. Moral of the story: if you're gonna claim to be a collector, be prepared for some scrutiny. #GilligansIsland #Collectibles #TruthHurts

You ain't foolin' anybody Hobie. There is no way a jug will make it to that Mauler before you drink it. Do you know the Hank Jr song "Born to Boogie"? Here is a line from it. I switched Bocephus with Hobie. "My name's Hobie, I drink whiskey by the gallon."

Dirt bikes have the weekend off. They just finished up Supercross where they race in NFL stadiums and will now start motocross where they race longer tracks outside. I like motocross better. I'm planning on heading to the local MX track Saturday.
