  1. Past hour
  2. Today
  3. Emma.....Roger's girl friend!
  4. I'm pretty sure it was Garrett because I passed him just as we got to the finish line. He's a great raced and has an awesome car but I had determination on my side, from the butt kicking he gave me last year!!
  5. Hobie, you started a discussion about the population of Hazzard in 2021, but the replies were only guesses. You can read it here.
  6. Did you know a real island in Puerto Rico is nicknamed Gilligan's Island? The island of Cayo Aurora. 😲
  7. DICK Sargent (Sheriff Grady Byrd)
  8. After finishing fourth Jesse flagged down Garrett and convinced him to change his mind and head into the Boar's Nest with everybody else. The three of them walked in together and clearly Emma was excited to be seen with Jesse. Right away Jesse silenced the room with his deep authoritative voice. "Now, listen up ya'll. I have an announcement to make but before I do, would somebody please tell me who finished second? Was it Skipper or Garrett?"
  9. byron CHERRY
  10. It must have been on one of the movies or reunion shows because that was definitely not in any episode of the 7 years of the series.
  11. I can't remember where I saw it, but it was a population count of Hazzard County........( if someone could tell me where I saw it, I would greatly appreciate it!). The population in Hazzard County is 2, 000 !!
  12. Oh yes Ma'am! It most definitely is!!
  13. Yesterday
  14. It's always a good time at the Boar's Nest.
  15. Well cousin Roger, Cousin Garrett and all the rest, need to meet at the Boar's Nest with Hobie and the others. ( I sure hope Daisy and Meadow are in there! )
  16. After finishing the race in whatever position, he ended up in, Garrett watches everyone walking into the Boars Nest to celebrate either a race won or a race fought. Shaking his head he looks at his beaten-up Spittin' Cobra in anger. He raced that race hard and clean and yet still lost and his beloved car took the beaten on due to it all. Feeling his anger toward how he was raced and how his car was disrespected by others around him, he knows better than to step foot in the Boars Nest with everyone celebrating. He takes a long glare at the Boars Nest he shakes his head in disgust before climbing back into the Spittin' Cobra and sighs in relief as it starts right up with a powerful roar. "Good race," he pats the dashboard of his beloved car, "let's go get you fixed up." With that he drives off towards home where he will work and fix on his beloved car to make it back to perfect once again.
  17. I don't know if this constitutes as a Blooper. But in Uncle Boss, when Bo and Luke lead Rosco thru those woods, just before Rosco takes out that moonshine still with his car, the vinyl top trim on the General Lee is painted over in orange. 😲
  18. Season 1 X Marks the Spot. Gilligan:"Mr. Howell?" Mr. Howell:"Eh, yes, Gilligan my boy. What is it?" Gilligan:"Mr. Howell, remember when everybody thought they were gonna be blown up? Remember how nice they were to each other?" Mr. Howell:"Gilligan my boy, when people are in trouble, they make concessions and fancy promises. When their troubles are over, they forget those fancy promises." Gilligan:"Would you Mr. Howell?" Mr. Howell:"A Howell go back on his word!? Never! Our family crest, honesty, fidelity, integrity." Gilligan:"Oh good." Mr. Howell:"Wait a minute, what's that?" Gilligan:"Oh it's your will Mr. Howell. I found it when I swam out of the missile. I'm just throwing it back in the water now." Mr. Howell:"NO NO NO MY BOY! DON'T!"
  19. BRION James (Mr. Jenkins from Big Daddy & Captain Slater from Cool Hands Luke & Bo)
  20. Hurricanes & Tornadoes & Cyclones & Volcanoes
  21. Disaster
  22. Does anybody here remember granny ANNIE ??
  23. Last week
  24. There don't seem to be many songs for this year's tournament, so for Meadowmfn, here's Andy Cameron's 'Ally's Tartan Army' from the 1978 World Cup in Argentina (I couldn't embed the Top of the Pops version!). England's best-known football anthem is 'Three Lions (Football's Coming Home)' by Baddiel & Skinner & Lightning Seeds. It was actually written for the 1996 UEFA European Championship, which England was hosting. FYI. Jules Rimet is the World Cup trophy and "30 years of hurt" refers to time since England won the World Cup in 1966 (we don't like to talk about it ). We've been spoiled for football songs. Here's New Order's 'World in Motion' from the 1990 World Cup. It was co-written by comedian Keith Allen, who is singer Lily Allen's father. He appears in the video along several of the players from that era. Finally, for a bit of football mixed with humor, Keith Allen was also behind Fat Les's 'Vindaloo' for the 1998 World Cup which was co-written by Blur bassist Alex James and bassist Guy Pratt. It was written as a parody, but has since been adopted as a chant by England fans. The video is a parody of The Verve's 'Bitter Sweet Symphony', and was filmed on the same street in Hoxton, London.
  25. USA won their second game yesterday, so they should be progressing to the knockout stage. Scotland, however, have never reached the knockout stage and will have to wait until their last game after losing yesterday. At the World Cup, players play for their country, but on a weekly basis, 154 of them play in the English Premier League, 94 in the German Bundesliga, 78 in the French Ligue 1, 74 in the Spanish La Liga and 68 in the Italian Serie A. The ninth highest with 37 is England's second division, the EFL Championship.
  26. I haven't watched any yet, but been keeping an eye on the scores. I'll probably watch a few over the weekend. I'm not a huge soccer (or what most of the world calls football) fan, but I catch a game every so often when I'm at my sister's house. One of my nieces played soccer throughout high school and I watched her games.
  27. I saw that. It's hilarious.
