I aimed for early retirement as far back as 15......everything I did was for that one goal! I was mostly retired in 2012 ( 47) but I was really there but I don't like to cut it too close. Then in 2021 ( 56), I was TOTALLY retired and now concentrate on my #1 hobby........Doing anything I want! LOL!

Right at the last straightaway on the track and heading for home, Hobie slams his foot down on the gas and prays his engine doesn't explode and that he has enough shine to last and to get his engine to the Finish line and to get him to the Boar's Nest! Hobie crosses the line first and waves at the crowd! When he got out of the Moonshine Mauler, he went straight in to the Boar's Nest for a cold one and that's where he finally found Daisy and Meadow....sitting at a table and waiting on HIM! This is when he felt like the race had REALLY been won! ( Although winning the 2nd Annual Moon Shine 400, was nice too! ) IT WAS A GREAT RACE BUT THE TOWN DRUNK WON IT!! BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR GUYS!! LOL!

Well I'm glad your well cousin! ( I was getting a little worried!)

With Emma hanging on tightly Jesse seems happy to be settling for fourth. Considering what he has been through that is quite an accomplishment. Then he looks in the rear view mirror and to his horror, sees a challenger to his fourth place goal. It's an Indy car and it's Hoss at the wheel.

No elecric or internet. Tornado shut everything down. Not close to my house and nobody was hurt but thousands of lines down.

Good to hear from you. Congratulations on retirement. I've been retired 6 years and have never been bored one minute. You are going to love it if you have a lot of interests.

"What the -" Garrett lets his sentence drag off in surprise at seeing Hobie flash by him before he straightening up in his seat and aggressively forces Spittin Cobra to forward at somehow a faster pace. "So this is how ya wanna play?" he hisses as he charges alongside Hobie.

The Best Quality DVD Release of the Series?
Road Pirate replied to Philip_Duke's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
I watch the most recent set. No confederate flag it's just orange with a 01 on the first pace of season 1-4 and an 02 on the set with seasons 5-6. I gotta say I watch it on my PS5 and I just recently turned on "game mode" and turned off "noise reduction" on my tv and i gotta say it has made a HUGE difference. I could actually make out the individual likes of smoke coming out of the general when he's chasing cooter. Where the noise reduction and game mode being off unnaturally smoothed the image -

A little late to this but I really wish streaming services would stop trying to morph a 4:3 image to fill a 16:9 tv -

Ok, I think my calendar will be free to update the site sometime in July. Unless something changes to push it up, I'm looking at just after July 4th. Been super busy with lots of medical appointments (fortunately good news this time) and business-related stuff, so this fell off my radar. I think we agreed on a Wednesday or Thursday, so that would be July 8th or 9th.

Someone who shall remain nameless (but enjoys a good beer ) recently asked if there was any merch they could buy to support HazzardNet. I have affiliate links around the site, but I didn't have any specific HazzardNet merch. Well, I made some. So far, there's a t-shirt, coffee mugs, and a beer glass for you-know-who. If you'd like to support HazzardNet and get some neat merch, you can buy here: https://hazzardnet-shop.fourthwall.com/
