  1. Goin' back to 1960 for this one... You Talk Too Much - Joe Jones (I know of this song from "Fonzie Favorites" a 1976 Happy Days LP that was released that included hits of the 50's and a track that had all the Fonz's sayings including "Aaaaayyy!" and my favorite "Sit on it!" LOL)
  2. Nice work Hoss! Yeah, getting a shot of that Choctaw car I'm sure wasn't easy. "Coltrane! Your driving is substandard!" Rosco: "I'm not the one that turned over...."
  3. Welcome to HNet Steve! Regardless of what the value might be, I'd say that photo is a keeper! I couldn't even hazard (heh) a guess as to what the value might be. I think it depends on what somebody is willing to pay for it. You could probably put a $100 value on it and somebody would pay that. Since you have Sorrell and Denver's sigs on it, that only enhances the value more since finding photos with their autographs is more rare now. Once you get it restored and framed if you hang it up anywhere, make sure you don't have the sun beating on it. You might want to look into getting the specialized glass that will help preserve the photo from any sun/light damage (but still keep it off a wall that gets any direct sunlight).
  4. Hi Hopester! I've been a Dukes fan since it aired back in the 80s. I came into I think around the time of the Coy and Vance episodes (I was about 6 at the time) and I remember being very upset when the show was cancelled! LOL. Always glad to see a new DOH fan, no matter how old ya are, or how long ya been one. Khee! Looking forward to looking at your art!

  5. I was then, like now, home and on vacation from work. I used to sleep in later back then on a day off, my alarm set to go off at 8:45 (those were the days...) My alarm clock is set to the radio, so when it went off that Tuesday I heard the radio announcer talking about a plane having hit the WTC. The announcer said something about how it apparently was a small aircraft and they were in the process of bringing the tv news feed on the air. I got up, went out to the living room and told my mom what I had heard. I turned on the television and saw the tower and the smoke. I knew it wasn't a small aircraft that had hit. Still tho', at that moment I figured a commercial jet had had a terrible malfunction and had hit the building. I never suspected it would be what we eventually found out it was. The rest of my family was up with in a few minutes after this. We ate breakfast with the tv on. We saw the second plane hit the other tower. We watched it for a while longer than broke away from it. We left the tv on, but didn't exactly sit and watch more. My father and I went outside and cut back the lilac bush which we had intended to do anyway. As I type this, it's a beautiful, clear sunny day. Just like it was 10 years ago. I live near a small municiple airport and the air was very very quiet when all flights were grounded. My mother told us when the report came through that another plane had hit the Pentagon. And then there was Flight 93 that crashed in the field, apparently the intended target for that was the White House or the Capitol. Later that afternoon, I was back watching the tv again and saw the towers fall. Dan Rather was in the middle of talking about something and he just stopped. I have a hard time now looking at photos, seeing any of the footage, seeing a fireman. Seeing a NY police emblem/uniform. There's so many thoughts and emotions from that day that after 10 years haven't tempered or abated at all.
  6. Awrighty folks, I've set up the page over on DOHFF which you can find here i1976's story is the first one posted up. We can't let her be the ONLY ONE can we???
  7. Ooh. Shame on us! My own zest for fanfic kinda went into the gutter awhile back, but that's no excuse for not tending to business here. i1976, I usually set up a page over at dukesofhazzardfanfic.com. I will PM you with my email address and you can email me your story file. I'll get the page set up proper. Maybe we can get this challenge revitalized!
  8. Awright, I don't feel so bad now. Heh! Poor Coy. I dunno what's funnier, the fact that he apparently was trying to leap over the entire roof of the car and didn't make it, or the repeat of the blooper with the slooowed down audio. Leeeeet's floooooooor iiiiiiiit cuuuuuuuuuuuzzzz....
  9. Why thank ya! Uhh... You know, I'd hate to win by wrecking somebody's General Lee tho'...
  10. Hmmm.... you may be on to something there. Public accountability and all that. Awright then, let's plan to have a meeting in the chat room next weekend. You name the date and time. We'll open the doors to the public and see who wants to watch! I gotta git busy gettin' my own pies ready....
  11. BAHAHA! Love it, Hoss! October 1st only! The fabulous HazzardNet Free-for-All Chaos and Shenanigans Review! The HazzardNet Flash Chat Room, at HazzardNet.com!
  12. I probably could take some pills for that but depending how strong they are...I'd probably trip and go head first into the side window of the General, leavin' my legs dangle out really unladylike and... ...well, I wouldn't be a Daisy Duke look-a-like. I'd be a Coltrane. KHEE!
  13. I had a great time with y'all! And the mess wasn't too bad! Now if Brian had been there...well, I'd still be cleanin' the place up. With some proper promotion (or proper explotation, as Elwood Blues would say) we'll have more folks there on October 1st. Mark your calendars folks, it's a Saturday. Brian, I'll make sure to remind ya before then. Now, as for holding our admin meetings publicly once in awhile... well, I suppose HNet citizen's have a right to see their HNet government inaction. It'd be better than watching C-SPAN coverage of that other inactive government....because we have pie throwing on the side. Not much would get accomplished but it'd be down right entertaining!
  14. Probably best to announce what room y'all are gonna be in. The default is the Boar's Nest. The only other room is the Lobby. The chat wasn't named for Velvet Ears, but it is funny how it worked out that way. Khee!
  15. You may recall, Roger, when we did our Christmas shenanigans we used the new flash chat as various folks were having problems with the regular chat room due to the java script. I think the Flash chat room worked out pretty good for everyone. You can use either chat function but the regular chat seemed to have the most issues. A note to everyone, to use either chat room you must have either Java installed or Adobe Flash. Either one of these softwares is a free download. Great idea to do the monthly chats, Roger. Just let us know which room you wanna use (or which one you normally use) and I'm sure they will come. (I'm gonna try to be there this Thursday! I'll bring the popcorn, heh! )
  16. Hear hear! I also add HNet staff's thanks and a job well done, Hoss! (And wouldn't ya know, he didn't need two .44s to do it either. KHEE!) Sal-ute!!
  17. I believe Roger and Brian are correct. I'll go a step futher and say he's the guy that leads the driver meeting and prayer bit.
  18. I agree with Roger, A looks like Cousin Alice. Shocking! Now if somebody at WB had really, really, REALLY thought about it, those meters would said 50 cents! ROFL
  19. She - Charles Aznavour Not to be confused with... I had never heard of Charles Aznavour until seeing the 1976 James Coburn film "Skyriders" (with Robert Culp. ) I included the Green Day song because more results for that came up in YouTube than for Mr. Aznavour. LOL. Two totally different songs.
  20. Hmm..... I'm totally taking wild guess on this one. Since it's Hazzard and Boss is always looking to make money, I would say that parking was 50 cents. If it wasn't, then somebody at WB wasn't paying attention. LOL My answer is D. And no, Roger, I was not calling you a pig in a prior question. LOL
