Eddiemunster
There's a Television Soundtrack CD? What songs are on it? I thought the only song there was is the theme song that Waylon Jenning sings.

Capt_Redneck
The Waylon Jennings version is NOT on the CD. You would think it should be though. It is more of a story CD told by song.....Actually not a bad CD. It is worth it just for Johnny Cash's "General Lee"
426GeneralLee
I love the song "Flash"
Julieduke
Do you find yourself driving faster to " In The Driver's Seat". That is one of my favorites.
Julieduke
A Little tip for anybody who didn't know it before, James Best never did make a country cd and also he is cousin of the Everly Brothers.
Eddiemunster
Possible dumb question:It's found in the country music section of my favorite CD store, right?
BH03
Eddiemunster I was going to ask the same question. Which section do you find it in at a cd store?
Capt_Redneck
Probably will find it in the soundtrack section of any store....That is where I got mine at BestBuy......Hope that helps
Eddiemunster
I'll keep that in mind when I go to my local Best Buy.
Julieduke
James Best Actually did make release a song in the 60's as a 45 record format or Vinyl under Jim Lindsey.
Capt_Redneck
I got lucky getting it at Best Buy . I haven't seen it there in the last few months, but that section is always messed up anyway...
T-Man
I have it and love it, my parents got it for me for christmas this past year. Its a great CD!
Dixie Lee_01
I found it online a couple years back, mp3s of the songs, and recreated the CD for myself. I'd have bought it except there's apparently not many places to find such an old album anymore. It's a lot of fun! My favorite songs are "General Lee", "In the Driver's Seat" (most fav at the moment), and "Down-Home American Girl", but they're all pretty good. My favorite I just mentioned is so... Dukes! Lol. So much of their personality there, and it sure don't hurt that John and Tom (he's harmony in the background; listen) are singing it. lost_sheep3
I have the CD too, I really enjoy it. I'm not sure what store I got it at, but I did find it in the soundtrack section. I think the online stores would be your best bet for older music. I'd try Amazon.com or Buy.com.LS3

Garrett Duke
It is a great album...I like pretty much all of the tracks on it. The song about Flash cracks me up!In fact, I actually have two CDs of it...I listened to the first one so much, it began to skip so I got another one. LOL! It's great to listen to, especially if I am in a rut in my writing...it seems to help my writing too!~Garrett Duke~
