  1. Both the General and the Trans Am were gas guzzlers. They could pass anything BUT a gas station!!!
  2. The car's body would most likely have to be mounted on a large truck frame to do it. If not, possibly a lift kit to make room for the extra large tires and the transfer case for the 4x4. It's not as easy to convert over as you might think.
  3. Cooter has to be a genius if he can fix a car during a chase scene!
  4. The only real Blooper(s) I care to mention are the ones of in one scene, the General Lee has a ding/dent or two, and the next scene shows the General as if it just rolled off the assembly line! I love those scenes.
  5. I had a cassette tape Of Jim Croche. It broke because it wore out. I recently bought two 8-tracks of Jim Croche. They both self destructed within one day. I need to buy a CD of Jim Croche, but I'm afraid it will be defective.
  6. Well, mine is to go back to school this year. I think I've learned all I can from watching DOH on how to drive! Now it's time to be realistic. I need my edjumakation!
  7. I just also thought of a great blooper that would be cool if it was ever filmed. Suppsedly, as I read somewhere here, that on the episode when Bo and Luke came back, you see Luke (I think it was) giving a strange look at Coy and Vance when they drive off. The rumour is that Coy flashed a moon at Tom and John, because they, especially Tom, had bad attitudes towards "the Clones." I really would love to laugh at that if another camera filmed that from a different angle. Maybe Vance flipped the bird or something, also. I'd really be ROFL!!!
  8. It is quite common for script writers to add and delete scenes at the very last minute. I'd have to watch for that again, but this was probably a mistake. That was probably a scene that at first was to be kept, so it was included in the intro. For some odd reason, the editor(s) thought that scene totally stunk, and axed it right before airing. It would be really cool if WB would try to find, if possible, any archived deleted scenes of DOH to be put as an extra in one of the seaon's box sets. Maybe even some bloopers would also be cool.
  9. If I had something with the CSA flag, I wouldn't be ashamed, either. I guess that would make us slave owners, right?
  10. Yes, I want this place! I bid 2 cents for it!
  11. I do understand other people's feelings, but they should also consider our feelings as well. If you woke up with a snot on your face, would that make you not go somewhere that day? No. So, if you choose to wear a CSA flag on your shirt, then that's too bad for the people who don't like it.
  12. I'll start with the first bid. .02 cents. Anyone else wish to outbid me?
  13. No push bar or roll cage? Gotta have those!!! Did you also get to drive it?
  14. I didn't understand that myself. But, after all, it's Hazzard County. You're not supposed to understand it, especially if it includes Boss Hogg and green paper.
  15. I don't know if Boss and Rosco could've ever sun off from the Dukes. You always have to have the Dukes being chased by Rosco, and somehow Boss always has to pin some crooked scheme on the Dukes. I think in the reunion movies, If Sorrell lived, he'd still be Boss Hog. Boss would be too greedy and money hungry to retire and watch his fat wife's brother get everything, just to goof it up. That's my opinion.
  16. Wow. It's been a long time I saw that movie.
  17. All you guys are talking about spending your money on toys. Well, not me. That money is being saved for the real thing. Yup. I'll be driving the real General some day, hopefully before I die.
  18. What would Cooter do? I would imagine fixing cars all day, have a few cold ones at the Boars Nest, and then become a politician. What else would he do?
  19. I just remembered today that Timothy McVeigh's family (or at least I know of his father) lives nearby me! I remember my friend and I passing what is supposed to be the house where Timthy grew up in, and I guess his father still lives there in Pendelton, NY. Kinda freaky, huh?
  20. Both were extremestly screwed up in the head. If we try to seperate, there will be more of this garbage, I agree. Even if there wasn't, we still won't seperate again. The Civil War is over with, and we're all one country. If southernors still wish to fly the CSA flag for what it really stands for, then so be it.
  21. How the heck did Timothy McVeigh get brought up? I don't understand how a sick and twisted traitor is related to this subject.
  22. When I have dreams of the Dukes, the only charachter I see in every scene is Daisy. That, of course, is why I must do laundry as soon as I wake up. Sorry. Had to say it.
  23. I also agree. Getting this half of America that is still a Confederate to unite and rise again is definately not gonna happen any time soon. If this happens, countless people will be like, "Oh, no. Not this subject again. I thought the Civil War was over with." If we start to seperate ourselves again, making a North versus South again, in today's world, we'd probably be even more vulnerable to more terrorist attacks again. They (the terrorists) would see us back to fighting amongst ourselves again and would plan more crazy stuff. Because of this, I really don't think the United States can afford to seperate again. Personally speaking, I actually do wish that the North left well enough alone back in 1861. If slavery was really an issue, and I know that wasn't a drop in the bucket compared to what other reasons why the Civil War came about, than I'm positive that issue could've been dealt with without war. I'm a Yankee. I've been all my life. Even I understand one's feeling for the meaning of the Confedrate Flag. Excuse my language, but piss on the politically correct jerks who put the flag down. It's NOT about racisim. Period.
