September 6, 201412 yr Author More bits- this piece is an interesting one. Through the run of the show, at least 3 different auto testers seen in the garage. With HossC's help, most have been ID'd as Sun brand machines. One however has defied identification. September 8, 201412 yr Author Those are Battlestar Galactica characters; they were the only other 1/24 scale figure I had handy. And that isn't necessarily Daisy, although it could certainly pass for her; its a 1/24 figure made for large scale model railroading.M

September 18, 201411 yr It's amazing how different it looks with a bit of red paint on the bottom of walls and poles. The furniture is looking good too. I can't wait to see it with a few more details added .BTW, while you've got the black paint out, why not color the rear light panel on the General (unless it's a replica of the one they used in some of the 'Reunion' movie ).

July 11, 201511 yr Author Looks good! is this done with soldering or a different way? Its actually 'sculpting wire'; solder is a bit softer. I'm covering it with an epoxy putty from the plumbing section at Home Depot. Mark
July 11, 201511 yr Right, ok. so it's way different from creating tree for H0 railways, there you would use copper and solder to create a nice tree base.
