I heard John Schneider on  the General's P.A. system, driving through town, a few years ago. This guy here in Sparta owns a General and they seem to be buddies!

That would be so awesome to hear! I remember watching a race back in Gordon/Johnson was racing . . . they were at Atlanta and John Schneider was the Grand Marshall. I got super excited. He needs to do it again. HA.

I'm still irritated that the local news didn't mention the Petty boys were coming. Maybe they were worried the crowd would be too big. I see King Richard is 87....hard to believe.

True but I remember when /king Richard was hot in NASCAR and I was like, 8, 9 yrs. old.....doing the math that's 50 yrs. ago ( I'm 59) , then  he would've been all that at 37!

When I went years ago, it doesn't seem like it was very well advertised. I heard it at the last minute and was lucky enough to go. Makes you wonder if it's on them and it's their way of saving money? IDK. When I went, I don't think Richard Petty was there. It was just Kyle Petty and a bunch of guys I didn't know. LOL. It was neat and odd at the same time. LOL

It was at a truck stop. It's the biggest truck stop around (Interstate 90) but it's still a truck stop with limited room so maybe they don't want too many people.

Yeah when they came to my area it was at a mall. So I'm sure space was limited as well. They handed out bandanas. I think I still have it.

NASCAR raced in Kansas this week and it looks like Kyle Larson dominated the race and won the race. It's always great to see team Hendrick in Victory Lane. I just can't wait until it's Chase Elliott. LOL .  (I apologize. I had to put my two cents worth there.  )

He's probably not going to get very far in the Moonshine 400. Those civilized NASCAR drivers are used to races that actually have rules.

Well they are racing at North Wilkesboro for the All Star Race tonight. It's an old race track that they haven't been on for some years now. Brad Keselowski won the pole. Here is the starting line up : NASCAR Cup Series at North Wilkesboro Speedway Live Leaderboard, Results, & Updates
