RogerDuke Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 I'm going to guess D) She wouldn't roll over. Quote
HossC Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Sorry Roger, BL and Lizzy have this one right. Flash fell asleep.Q. In 'Go West, Young Dukes' Boss claims that his deeds to the Duke farm look legal to him. What does Uncle Jesse claim are the only two legal things that Boss has ever done?. Quote
LizzyJackson-Davenport Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 That's what I was thinking so I'll agree with you again Quote
RogerDuke Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 That sounds right to me so I'm agreeing with B.L. and Lizzy. Quote
HossC Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 Everyone was right on that one .Q. In 'The Dukes in Hollywood', Boss and Rosco eventually hide out from the studio security guards by entering one of the sound stages. What's the name of the movie/show whose set they gatecrash?. Quote
RogerDuke Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 That's a toughie. At first I was going to say Harem Heaven but I think I remember it having nights in the name. I'm guessing Harem Nights. If I'm wrong I bet it's something like that. Quote
MaryAnne Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 I believe Roger is right and it's "Harem Nights" Quote
HossC Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 You're getting lucky with your guessing again Roger . I'm sure MaryAnne didn't need to guess - she just knows these things!.Q. In 'Go West, Young Dukes' what was the name of Thadius B. Hogg's Saloon?. Quote
RogerDuke Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Well, Harem Nights wasn't really a guess since it was tucked away in the back of my head and located after I removed the cobwebs. I am completely guessing with this one. I'll say Sleepy City Saloon. Quote
LizzyJackson-Davenport Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 I'm gonna disagree and say Thadius B. Hogg's Golden Palace Saloon Quote
HossC Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Nice one Lizzy - you're right. Let's see how well you were watching that episode.Q. In 'Go West, Young Dukes' what was the name of the whiskey that was visible behind the bar?:A) Taos Lightning Coffin VarnishC) Tarantula JuiceD) Wild Mare’s MilkE) Double EagleF) TanglefootAccording to my research (5 minutes on Google). the others are genuine Old West whiskey names. Quote
RogerDuke Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Nice job Lizzy. Nice job researching those old names Hoss. Putting in an extra effort like that sure makes the question more interesting and educational. I'm going to guess Coffin Varnish. Quote
HossC Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 BL got that one - here's a picture to prove it:Q. Still on 'Go West, Young Dukes', Jeremiah, Joe, Hank, and Dixie Duke, as well as Jeeter Davenport, Thadius B. Hogg and Rufus Z. Coltrane all had couterparts in modern-day Hazzard. Jeremiah's wife Jenny wasn't a regular cast member but she did appear in modern-day Hazzard back in season 2 (not as a Duke). Who was she?. Quote
RogerDuke Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 I wouldn't have known her name was Stacy Williams but I was thinking of the lady who was on Teasure of Hazzard. I then looked at my episode list and seen that it was a season 2 episode so that's my answer. I never put the two characters together as the same person. Probably because they're 5 seasons apart and I usually watch the eps in order and just never noticed. You're awesome Hoss! Quote
MaryAnne Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Holy smokes. Now that I sit here and think about it...I believe Roger and BL are correct. I wouldn't have remembered the name tho'. I love this thread. Quote
HossC Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 You folks have good memories - points all 'round. Tonight's question is a little more cryptic:Q. English conman Gaylord/Roger was the eponymous character in 'Duke of Duke', but who could be given the title 'Duke of Duke' in the Reunion movie?. Quote
HossC Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Well done Lizzy, it was Daisy. She had 'Duke' on the back of her jacket because that was the name of the graduate school she was studying at, making her (Daisy) Duke of Duke.Q. Still on 'Reunion', what was the name of Bo's female friend who gave him a lift to Hazzard?. For a bonus point, what title did she hold?. Quote
LizzyJackson-Davenport Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 I think her name was Tammy but I'm certain she was Ms. Talladega Raceway Quote
HossC Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Looks like you're on your own again Lizzy - Roger's obviously still nursing his sore head. Luckily you're right on both counts.Q. The 'Hazzard in Hollywood' movie starts with the annual hoe-down. How many years had it been going?:A) 2 years 4 yearsC) 6 yearsD) 8 yearsE) 10 yearsF) 12 years Quote
LizzyJackson-Davenport Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I'm gonna disagree and say 2 years Quote
