August 22, 201016 yr Welcome back to the trivia thread BL. Both you and Roger got that right.I've looked carefully at the bike in the show, and I don't think it is Buddy Holly's actual bike even though it was owned by Waylon at the time - see more here:http://www.bikemenu.com/photos/famous/Buddy_Holly/Buddy_Holly.htmlWe'll end the week with an easy one:Q. If you ignore spaces and punctuation, what is the longest and what is the shortest episode title, ie. One Armed Bandits = 15 letters?.
August 23, 201016 yr Easy one? LOL Just on the top of my head I'll say...Repo Men The Sound of Music-Hazzard Style (I bet I missed them both)
August 23, 201016 yr this seems like a really cool forumlets see if i get this rightthe return of the mean green machinerepo men

August 23, 201016 yr bolukeduke and BL got it right. I'll give you 1/2 points Roger - if it makes you feel better, I thought 'The Sound of Music - Hazzard Style' was longest when I thought up this question. It was only when I checked before posting that I realised it wasn't . The longest are:Opening Night at the Boar's Nest = 26The Sound of Music - Hazzard Style = 27Cale Yarborough comes to Hazzard = 28The Return of the Mean Green Machine = 30The episode titles seem to get longer as the seasons go on. Season 1 had mainly short titles. I would have allowed 'Route 7-11' as the shortest as it contains only 5 letters. Now for today's question:Q. In 'The Dukes in Hollywood' the Dukes drive General Lee down Hollywood Boulevard and point out the Chinese Theater, but what film was playing?.
August 23, 201016 yr Yes i got my first question right.HoggC when u say the dukes in hollywood are you talking about the episode or the reunion movie
August 23, 201016 yr Yes i got my first question right.HoggC when u say the dukes in hollywood are you talking about the episode or the reunion movieI'm talking about the episode from season 7. BTW it's Hoss, not Hogg, although I can see how you could have misread it given the website we're on .
August 23, 201016 yr im sorry HossC. i spelt it wrong cause i was talking to my cousin and we were talking about boss hogg so i spelt it wrong by mistake. thanks for clearing up the question for me about dukes in hollywood
August 24, 201016 yr Smokey and the Bandit III(just a guess, I wouldn't advise anybody to follow my lead)
August 24, 201016 yr This isn't an easy one unless you've just watched it like I have . I give y'all a clue: It was a Clint Eastwood movie, and probably not one his most famous.
August 24, 201016 yr yeah sure i thought it was to late cause i forgot to answer it yesterday.im not sure if this is right but my guess ispale rider
August 24, 201016 yr I'm totally guessing because I haven't seen this one in a while and I'm not a Clint Eastwood fan. Was it...Two Mules for Sister Sara
August 24, 201016 yr Looks like no-one's gonna get this one - the answer is 'Tightrope'. Unlike BL, I am a Clint Eastwood fan, and I don't think I've seen this one. Here's the proof:Q. In 'The Ransom of Hazzard County' Clyde the impound guard was played by Ernie Lively. His real-life stepson Jason appeared in 2 earlier episodes, can you name either or both of them. Bonus points for the character names.
August 25, 201016 yr This is just a guess. Rodney Moffett on "Boar's Nest Bears". He was also the orphan who spit soda pop on the inside back window of the General Lee on "One Armed Bandits"
August 25, 201016 yr i agree with rogerhe played rod moffet on the boar's nest bears and he play rudy on one armed bandits
August 25, 201016 yr I thought that was a tricky one, but everyone got it right - shows how much I know . Q. In the closing credits, where General Lee is being chased in circles around the trees, which make and model of patrol car is chasing them?A) Dodge Monaco Dodge PolaraC) Dodge CoronetD) Plymouth FuryE) Plymouth SatelliteF) AMC Matador
August 25, 201016 yr HossC what do u mean by closing creditsWhen the names come up at the end of each episode.

August 26, 201016 yr I'm going with the Coronet. MaryAnne knows a lot about cars so I wouldn't be surprised if she gets it.
