2026 Moonshine 400

With Emma hanging on tightly Jesse seems happy to be settling for fourth. Considering what he has been through that is quite an accomplishment. 

Then he looks in the rear view mirror and to his horror, sees a challenger to his fourth place goal. It's an Indy car and it's Hoss at the wheel.

Skipper drives up on Garrett. "No way Garrett, you're not gonna beat me!" Decides to play Demolition Derby with Garrett's car.

Right at the last straightaway  on the track and heading for home, Hobie slams his foot down on the gas and prays his engine doesn't explode and that he has enough shine to last and to get his engine to the Finish line and to get him  to the Boar's Nest!  

Hobie crosses the line first and waves at the crowd! When he got out of the Moonshine Mauler,  he went straight in to the Boar's Nest for a cold one and that's where he finally found Daisy and Meadow....sitting  at a table and waiting on HIM! This is when he felt like the race had REALLY been won! ( Although  winning the 2nd Annual Moon Shine 400, was nice too!   ) 

      IT WAS A GREAT RACE BUT THE TOWN DRUNK WON IT!! BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR GUYS!!  LOL!

Thanks. Three days since the 2 tornadoes and some folks still don't have electric.

Jesse looks ahead and notices there is an intense battle going on for second place. 

He looks behind to see Hoss is serious about taking the fourth place position. He's coming on fast in that Formula 1 car.....or Indy car or whatever it's called. It doesn't look like Hoss can catch him but he is gaining quickly. 

Jesse's mind turns to something else....something that will happen after the race that will have all of Hazzard County talking. He smiles.
