August 30, 20215 yr We were watching I Dream of Jeannie on Sonny's birthday and I was thinking that Doctor Bellows looks a little like him. And then today my wife turned the TV over to Forrest Gump and, you guessed it, right at the moment Sonny was on. I hope he had a great birthday.
August 28, 20224 yr Possum on a gumbush. 'Ol Enos turns 87 today. It's so hard to believe since he's always looked 20 years younger....well, not always. I'm sure that wasn't the case when he was 21. That would have been tough. It would have been even tougher when he was 5. Anyways, happy birthday. We're meeting at the Boar's Nest this evening. HossC is buying the buttermilk. They're half price to celebrate your birthday. Boss Hogg sure is generous. Of course the buttermilk has been expired for a month (but with buttermilk it's hard to tell). And Boss is charging 5 bucks to get out.

September 6, 20232 yr I see I got Enos's birthday wish in before I lost my internet. I think the hurricane hit Valdosta Georgia about that time so I bet things were crazy in his neck of the woods.

You are a true Southern gentleman and were a natural to play Enos Strate. This is cool.....our puppy Lulu turns one year old today. When we got her at the beginning of the year I was thrilled to learn she shared a birthday with Sonny Shroyer!
