  1. It's true! Waylon did a version for his album (about two minutes long) and I have that version on one of his greatest hits CD's. It's also the version that's on karaoke CD's everywhere. The one minute version was just for the series.
  2. My top three favorites in order of preference: 1. Luke 2. Daisy 3. Bo
  3. I'm sure I saw a sticker on Rosco's car that said 'sheriff'. That's how they told them apart.
  4. I totally agree with you on this one, Dixie!
  5. Well, I don't wear glasses myself, but everyone else in my family has to wear them. I don't consider them geeks at all. It's true, no one's perfect and everyone has to respect that. I've seen lots of pictures of Tom on his official website where he's wearing glasses and he looks so fine to me! Definitely handsome, in my books!
  6. Welcome Larry! As you can see, Tom's my favorite on the show!
  7. Once the second season DVD comes out in two weeks, everyone can watch the episodes in the order that they make sense. The original airdates were really messed up: for instance, we see Daisy driving her jeep in "Arrest Jesse Duke", but we don't see her getting the jeep as a present until a couple of weeks later in "The Runaway". In some episodes, you didn't know whether she was going to be driving the plymouth or the jeep. Same goes with Rosco's and Cooter's replacements. You didn't know whether Rosco or Cooter were going to be in the episode or their replacements (even though both sets of replacements weren't in the same episode). Hughie Hogg was featured in "Arrest Jesse Duke", but his introduction episode didn't come until next season in "Uncle Boss", featuring Daisy's plymouth and Enos (by that time was on his own show). L.B. Davenport was in "The Runaway", "Follow That Still", and "Duke of Duke". B.B. Davenport was in "Grannie Annie". That's four Cooter wasn't in. Hughie Hogg was in "Arrest Jesse Duke". Lester Crabbe was in "Treasure of Hazzard". Grady Byrd was in "Jude Emery" and "Officer Daisy Duke". Buster Moon was in "The Return of the Ridge Raiders". That's five Roscoe wasn't in. What's my point in all of this, it's simple. The airdates in the following seasons made more sense than in season two.
  8. Here's an ad from TVGuide Canada: http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/users/41c57c6fzb5bfbb4/cb73/__sr_/feae.jpg?ph.9C5BBEVNAcKJk Don't they look cute in those winter hats?
  9. That's exactly what my brother said when I told him who was in the new Dukes movie. He agrees with me that nothing will compare to the original series. John Schneider and Tom Wopat will always be Bo and Luke to me! Besides that, they're much hotter looking than Sean and Johnny are today.
  10. This is the Dukes of Hazzard page on the official CMT Canada website! It has a trivia game and a matchmaker game. There's tons of Dukes tips and photos. http://www.cmtcanada.com/on_cmt/shows/dukes_of_hazzard/index.asp Have a thing for Bo? Does Luke catch your fancy? Take the matchmaker quiz to find out who your perfect match is. http://www.cmtcanada.com/on_cmt/shows/dukes_of_hazzard/quiz/index.asp Trivia Challenge http://www.cmtcanada.com/on_cmt/shows/dukes_of_hazzard/trivia.asp
  11. My dad and I were just talking about all of the older models coming back onto the market. He's a mechanic, just like Cooter. My dad says that the car companies are finally realizing their mistakes in the newer cars and that the older models such as Dodge Chargers and Ford Mustangs were a better quality car. He told me that the Mustang bodies are going to be a similar shape of the 1960's model. I do like the classic look of the Dodge Charger, but the 2006 model looks cool.
  12. Both John and Tom still look handsome as ever for their ages: Tom is 53 (Sept. 9, 1951) and John is 44 (April 8, 1960). Tom is the same age as my uncle and my cousin and Tom is two days older than my uncle. John is the same age as my cousin. I come from a large family where some of my cousins are the same age as my parents. Cathy still is pretty as ever at 50 (51 on March 1). She's the same age as my aunt. Sonny and Ben still look good for their ages. Sonny looks like he hasn't aged much since the original series. James and Rick look good too! What do you all think? Do you think the cast has aged gracefully?
  13. John turns 45 on April 8. I agree, he still looks great for his age!

  18. It would be quite fitting if Willie did sing the theme song. After all, Waylon and Willie were friends until the day Waylon died.
  19. Happy New Year everyone! Only 24 more days until the Dukes of Hazzard second season comes out on DVD!!!
  20. Daisy, Luke, and Bo are my favorites. The cousins are the essence of the show!
  21. Boy, that quiz is fun! I rated as Daisy, who likes to dress sexy and who's always there to help someone in need.
  22. The worst episodes for me were the ones featuring the 'clones' -- Coy and Vance, I was glad when Bo and Luke returned though. I didn't mind 'Strange Visitor to Hazzard' though, it was cool.
  23. Don't they look handsome in those deputy uniforms!
