(I'm absolutely positive the word Vietnam was never mentioned. I don't think any war was specifically. When Boss was dedicating a memorial in "Follow That Still" he and Luke weren't specific. And as we mentioned, the V-word wasn't mentioned in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". The only other one I can think of is "One Armed Bandits" where Boss said he was in 2 wars (contradicted in Follow That Still). Those wars would have been WW2 and Korea. I'm surprised the writers never made Jesse a WW2 vet.) 

I bet the rehab nurses and PT's threw a party Friday as my dad got released. Going to have to see if a local Starbucks or Tim Hortons has a bunch of $5 gift cards to hand out to them as an apology for his behavior. I don't know what has gotten into him but my patience is wearing thinner than a strand of hair. The way he has treated his brother the past few months is shameful. Friday I had my fill, told my dad he should be nicer but he didn't like hearing that so I left before I said something I'd regret. I came home and finished off a bottle of JD.

You guys know who John Rich is don't you? The country group Big and Rich.

I love that quote about space.  My other favorite line is when the Skipper yells at Gilligan and says, "Gilligan, did you hear me?" and Gilligan says, "I can hear you if I was in Hawaii!"

Why did they ever want to leave?
1. Free food
2. No bills
3. No contact only the other castaways and they didn't have to speak to each other if they didn't want to
4. No Covid and other junk

The bull horns get knocked off by the step ladder when Cletus crashes into Boss' Cadillac as the Dukes re-steal the Christmas trees. It may have been accidental, but the episode is consistent after that. I'm sure Cooter can re-attach them for $35.42!

 

Despite all the fights, arrows, accidents and gun shots, nobody in Hazzard was ever
