Is your wife new to Facebook/the internet? I was seeing jokes about the sub almost from the moment it went missing, and I don't even do Facebook. You might not like it, but it's hardly unexpected.

Hey Roger,  what do the grandkids think of TDOH? They weren't  even in existence when this stuff came out! I bet they would like it though, just like every real American does!  

loud cars....going around an oval.....sounds like you got part of your OWN Hazzard County right there!  

I like the idea except we either have grandkids Friday evening or I'm at the local dirt track watching loud cars going around an oval. 

Hay guys, we have Christmas, Thanksgiving etc. etc. , however,  those are just celebrated  once a year! THIS holiday I propose , is celebrated every Friday! Dukes of Hazzard Day! Every Friday we can watch one of our favorite episodes and then tell everyone which one we watched and something we noticed about it. We all have the episodes but every now and then somebody says something about one we never knew or noticed! ( It happened to me a few days ago!) 
 
What do you guys think  about my holiday?  Dukes of Hazzard Day! ( DOHD)  Every Friday! ....This is because,  this is when it used to come on and it just FEELS like a Friday night show....you know?  Well let me know what you think and remember...today is Friday, so  Happy DOHD!!

We're getting an odd mixture of weather at the moment. Most of the time the temperature's in the low- to mid-20s Celcius (70s Fahrenheit), but then we get occasional torrential rain that's too much for the drain to cope with.

Actually... Did you know Luke's Love Story was the first filmed in CA and Swamp Molly 2nd? But they aired Luke's Love Story 2nd and Swamp Molly 1st. Repo Men and Mary Kaye's Baby were actually Repo Men 3rd Mary Kaye's Baby 4th. But they aired Repo Men 4th and Mary Kaye's Baby 3rd.

He's fixing the shorted out tail light wire to make Rosco happy. Cooter:"Uncle Jesse!" Uncle Jesse is perplexed and still can't find the source of the voice just yet . Cooter:"Uncle Jesse hey!!!"(Grabs Uncle Jesse's leg.) Uncle Jesse:"Dang blasted it Cooter! Quit callin' me Uncle Jesse! I got enough people callin' me Uncle Jesse!" Cooter:"Yes sir Uncle- Eh Mr. Duke!" Cooter has crawled out from under the General Lee. He sits on the trunk. Uncle Jesse:"What're you doin' under there, anyways?" Cooter:"Oh the tail light wire shorted out. You know how old Rosco is." Uncle Jesse:"Do you need some help?" Cooter:"Naw sir. I already got it. Besides, you'd get all greasy. With me, it don't matter no more, Mr. Duke."

Every news story seems to come with a conspiracy theory but that's not the same thing as making fun of the people who died though. Speaking of Princess Diana, I think I just watched an ep with a portrait of her in front of the Hazzard Post Office. If memory serves me right, James Best painted it.

So in other words they didn't realize what was about to happen and they didn't know it when it DID happen! A pretty merciful way to go!

A human brain responds instinctually to a stimulus at about 25 milliseconds, Mr Corley says. Human rational response - from sensing to acting - is believed to be at best 150 milliseconds.
The air inside a sub has a fairly high concentration of hydrocarbon vapours.
When the hull collapses, the air auto-ignites and an explosion follows the initial rapid implosion, Mr Corley says.
Human bodies incinerate and are turned to ash and dust instantly.
