Mr. Lee

Guys, I own a vintage belt buckle, same as the one Bo Duke had in the series. It's not a repop they did a few years ago but an original vintage one. Very hard to find but I decided it's time to let it go for someone else to enjoy. Not listed for sale anywhere yet so a real fan on here can get it. As it's rare and vintage it's not cheap but in great condition. Price is $175,- plus shipping. Still a decent price, they sell mostly between $250,- and $300,- as can be seen in the pic below. Who gets it?

That's awesome that you love the Dukes enough to go so far as to even get the color under the hood right! Thanks as always for sharing the pictures. He also figuredd out the right color, which if I'm not mistaken, we had a big argument over one time! Remember that? ( I can't remember WHO but I DO remember the argument over exactly what shade of orange it was!! ) Well , trying to be as accurate as possible but will never be 100% accurate. The color will always be discussed. But LEE1 was originaly T3 Light Bronze Metallic with Orange painted on the outside, so if you make a replica this is the way to do it in my opinion. Thanks for the compliments all 🙏

Some more progress Repainted pushbar and licenceplate are on. Also worked hard this weekend repainting the inside of the hood. It's T3 Light Bronze Metallic now, just like the original one. I'm so happy with the result! Went to the process of sanding, primer, basecoat and shiny clearcoat.

Still waiting for parts to finish the dashboard but had some time last week to give the car his face back Starting to look like a car again!

That's where I know him from, never heard of him before that movie, but liked his music instantly. I even bought a CD from him after seeing the movie. Anyway, way to young to go. Rest in peace Toby..

Hi Crystel, thanks for joining in on here. Can you share a link from the documentary you mention?

It maybey doesn't look like progress but it sure is Got everything out of the dashboard to get the wiring harness for the 8-track setup in. So got the harness in, got the new center speaker in and got the 8-track player in. Also got the cluster cleaned up and installed a brand new bezel on it. I never had a cluster that looked like new so this makes me very happy! Next time get I'll get everything in the dashboard again. Can't wait for the result!

Sweet! Gives me the idea to make a TV in my garage aswell

Not the biggest job but the LEE1 parking permit decal is in place. It took some measuring from a pic of the original LEE1 but I think it's almost spot on. Anyway, I'm happy about it

Yes! Finally the engine is in

I little progress has been made, and they make me very happy Bought a new battery and got myself a dress-up kitt and gave it an original look: Also I serviced the front brakes. Painted the calipers and cleaned and greased everything: Also we managed to get the new windscreen in. Love to see the car with my 3-speakerdash and new windscreen! Next step will be to put the windowtrim on, bleed the brakes and paint and polish the front rims. When that is done, engine and transmission can get it. Where getting there
