In 'Arrest Jesse Duke' the car strippers run 'Dixie Auto Supply Inc.' from building #1.

This shot shows Bo, Luke and Daisy pulling up at the side of the store.

This is the back entrance to the auto parts store. I'm pretty sure it's not at the back of building #1. The impound yard from season 1 (near building #24) had a corrugated steel fascia similar to this, so it may have been filmed there.

The chase away from the auto parts store goes down the road past Boss's house. We don't ususally get to see this far down the road due to the sound stage at the end of it!.

Regular visitors may have noticed that I haven't posted much artwork here lately. Hopefully this should explain why.
The artwork below started out as a re-creation of the Hazzard Theater sign for the Signs of Hazzard thread, but grew into a monster project encompassing a whole block of Hazzard Square. After completing the theater sign I added some background and got carried away. I've tried to be as accurate as possible, with some details only clearly visble in a single episode. I also had to allow for the fact that some of the details change constantly, so what you see here may not exist together exactly like this in any single episode. I originally wanted to put more detail into varying the brickwork, but 'Seth M Berley's', for example, has somewhere in the region of 5000 bricks, so I settled for uniformity instead. For clarity (and to make my life easier) I have not attempted any interiors. I know that some episodes show gold lettering on the upper windows of some buildings, but I couldn't get any screengrabs where this text was readable. I can add them if anyone knows what they say.

Here they are at a larger size:

I do plan to do more of these, but may do something else in-between just for variety.

Sorry for the delay in adding to this list, but I've been concentrating on other threads. The rest of season 2 didn't yield anything worth mentioning (unless I missed something).
You wait ages for a different patrol car, and then two come along in the same episode - in this case 'Baa, Baa White Sheep'. The first is the red and white Finchburg patrol car.

The other appears at the end of the episode. It's a more standard black and white State Police car. Both are 1977/78 Dodge Monacos.

No light bar on this one. It's the 1972 AMC Matador driven by the US Marshall in 'Along Came a Duke'.

Rosco's 'camo' patrol car in 'The Great Hazzard Hijack' is another 1977/78 Monaco. Only in Hazzard would they camouflage a car and then add a lightbar and shiny gold decals.

I haven't forgotten the appearance of Sheriff Little's patrol car in 'My Son, Bo Hogg'. Because it appears in many episodes I'm waiting for a clearer picture.

Also in 'Deputy Dukes' we get to see the Springville County patrol cars. These are the only shots I could get, but they appear to be 1973 Dodge Polaras.

These look like New York City patrol cars of that era, and I think there may even be residue from the old decals on the door.

This one isn't strictly a patrol car, but it's driven by the Tri-Counties Bonding Company guards in 'Money to Burn'. It's a 1971 AMC Matador.

The last patrol car from season 1 belongs to Choctaw County. It's a 1975/76 Dodge Coronet. Considering that they created three of these cars, it was hard to get a clear picture. The roof is white over a light brown body. The decals are identical to the Hazzard cars except that it says 'Choctaw County Sheriff' under the door badge (briefly visible when the car rolls over). The car also has the squarer style lightbar.

    Hey y'all,
I found this question interesting when I first came across it some time back...so I've been keeping track as I've been playing through the entire series.
If you mean specifically 77 Monacos, I found the villains drove one in the episode "Dead and Alive" (S6 E14). This one started out a beige color, then in the storyline was repainted blue to hide. It's the one Cooter discovered was the one they were looking for when he had to repair some collision damage and found the light color underneath.
If you expand to include the same body type with the Plymouth Furys (round-light) you'll find a ton of them in Season 4. Here's what I've found, only missing E7:
-Plymouth Fury, blue, owned by Cooter in S1 E3 Mary Kaye’s Baby
-Plymouth Fury, green, driven by villains (Mr. & Mrs. Roby) in S3 E15 To Catch a Duke
-Earlier (4-round across) driven by Hobie the town drunk S3 E19 Bye, Bye Boss
-Plymouth Fury, blue, driven by Private Investigator, S3 E20 The Great Hazzard Hijack
-Plymouth Fury, 2-tone brown, driven by Jamie Lee Hogg in S4 E1 Mrs. Daisy Hogg
-Plymouth Fury, light blue, driven by fur thieves in S4 E10 Trouble at Cooter’s
-Plymouth Fury, brown, driven by NASCAR drivers Boss hired in S4 E11 Goodbye General Lee
-2 Plymouth Furys; blue driven by villains, white driven by U.S. Postal Inspector in S4 E18 Miz Tisdale on the Lam
-Plymouth Fury, black, driven by villains in S4 E19 Nothin’ But the Truth
-Plymouth Fury, blue, driven by villains in S4 E20 Dear Diary
-Plymouth Fury, black, driven by villains in S4 E21 New Deputy in Town
-Plymouth Fury, black, driven by villains in S4 E22 Birds Gotta Fly
-Plymouth Fury, white, driven by villains in S4 E23 Bad Day in Hazzard
-Plymouth Fury, black, driven by villains in S4 E25 Share and Share Alike
-’77 Dodge Monaco used by villains (started episode light beige color, then repainted blue in the storyline), S6 E14 Dead and Alive

This may have been posted before, but as I was looking at the page that shows all the cars used by characters in the show,  I noticed there was some inaccuracies when it came to Daisy's cars. True, she started out the show with a yellow 1973/74 Plymouth Road Runner...but the story goes, when parts became too difficult to find to repair the few they had on the show, they switched to a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring...painted with the Road Runner paint scheme. So, the '71 she used was actually a Satellite, and not a Road Runner. Just FYI.   What I don't understand though, is in 1979 a '74 vehicle would have only been 5 years old...you're telling me that barely five years later Chrysler wouldn't have replacement parts for one of their vehicles?   Just seems a little strange to me. But, maybe the parts were actually too expensive to continually order...and parts for the Satellite were cheaper for a while. Just a thought.

OK.....this is from the HUH??? or the WHAAAAT??? Dept. You know those few times/scenes, in episodes that you have no explanation  for? Well, on this episode, when Enos and Rosco had collected all the merchandise that Bo and Luke had  been framed with ( Remember they supposedly tried to make off with merchandise from a dept. store and it was all set up by Boss? ) . Enos and Rosco were in Rosco's office WITH the merchandise and Enos said, " Well I guess that clears the Duke Boys of all charges" And Rosco said, " That's a wrong, that's a wrong! They're probably hiding the evidence, just to weasel out of it!"  WHAAT?? This made no sense! They were HOLDING the evidence ( all except for the car) in their hands even as he said this! This made no sense!

I was thinking the SAME thing! " You're unlucky because we can always step outside!" GOOFY!!  Also stupid, remember how Bo was going to make the jump and when he was about to do it, Luke was going to " Ride shotgun" with him, so he could keep his eye on the speed, etc. so Bo could concentrate on the jump!! THAT was weak! How about shooting his chances in the foot, by adding a couple hundred pounds to the weight of the car? Dumb!!! This whole episode with its goofiness and stupidity, makes you wonder about the writers!  This one and Dr. Jekyl and Mr. duke are my two least favorite!

My favorite is at the end of "Follow That Still" when the contraband cigarettes are being throw out of the tank (armored personel carrier).
The problem is that there's nobody in it because they've all jumped out at that point.

    Warning: May Contain Spoilers
This Topic discusses stuff about the mistakes/bloopers and similar stuff about the show. If your sure that by reading this, it'll not take out the enjoyment of watching the show, you may read.

I've been watching the show a lot lately. I haven't seen it for a long time. When I watch shows/movies, I always look for mistakes/bloopers and other stuff especially after I've seen it the first time. Here are some stuff I've noticed about the show:
Same clothes ~ It appears the characters always were the same clothes, practically every episode
Boss/Rosco are always trying to blame something on the Dukes even in some previous episode they did something good (stopped something bad from happening, saved Boss's life etc.
Episodes not in order ~ There are episodes that have Daisy's Jeep, and others, Daisy has the car instead. Hugh's first visit was in season 3? But there was an episode in season 2 that he was in. In season 2, Bo and Luke send Daisy's Car over a cliff. The end of that episode, she get's the Jeep. In previous episodes, she had already had the Jeep. I'm on season 3 of the Dukes now and there were some episodes that showed the car. It is kinda confusing but I'm getting used to it.
When it it shows a car up close when someone is driving it, like when it shows it just outside the windows(s), there's probably a screen with an image playing the background as there driving. I'm guessing that it takes place in a studio or someplace. I didn't really notice it until a couple days ago. One episode for a good example is in season 3. The episode with the jevel thieves. There is a scene around the first of the episode where it shows the car by Cooter's gerage moving very slow. There is a quick scene of the inside the car, as you can see, the a lot faster (like 40-50 KM/H). Then it shows the outisde of the car near Cooter's gerage. The car is still moving a slow speeditdidn't move a lot.
The Board's Nest floor plan dosen't add up to the inside. This could be my mistake. but it seems like the Board's Nest from the outide is long on the front the from the front to the back is kinda short. If you take a look at the inside, where it shows the resturant, then Boss's Office (or whatever it is) the width from the front to back of the building is a bit longer. Also (If I'm correct), from the outisde of the Board's Nest, the door to Boss's room is on the side but inside the Boss's room, the door leading to outide is at the back. I could be wrong about that though.
Also, everytime, Rosco/Enos/Cletus crash their cars, how do they get back (I suppose they couldn'e called someone on the CB. Also, for the amount of car that get smash, they sure get a lot of new ones. One episode I have seen, where either Enos or Cletus came back to work as deputy (can't remember which one) Boss mentions that they don't have enough money for another patrol car so, he has to share his with Cletus (or Enos, if it was Cletus who came back to work as deputy)
(I suppose one explanation is that Boss has a lot of money and he manages to to get the cars fixed or buy a new one and he really just didn't want to get another one at that time.)
Mistakes/Blooper: When Daisy's car goes over the cliff in the second season. At the very last second if you look closely. You can see a crew member in the back sett sit up.
That's the only mistake I remember so far.
Even though with some things don't seem right with the show and the mistakes/bloopers, I dosen't bother me. I sill enjoy the show and it's still one of my favorite shows. The acting, comedy and action is really good. Too bad that don't make shows that that anymore. I just thought it was interesting to post some stuff that I've noticed about the show. If anyone else noticed anything about the show, post it here.

First, I have the WORST vehicle luck and have since I was 15 years old. I have a 1991 F-150 pickup that SHOULD be easier to work on. It has ran great for a year. I had surgery in Feb 18 and was off work until June 4th.  June 5th the good ole pickup decided that I should not go to work!!  Well, I took sons car and every since my sons car has been my way to get to work. The truck WAS starting faithfully every evening / afternoon.  We had done process of elimination and found it is NOT a firing, moisture or lack of gas issue by changing the electrical box under the dash just below the steering wheel. Then the Distributor cap, rotary button and fuel relay. We now know it is flooding itself. The front fuel pump has not worked since we have had the vehicle about a year now, but on the rear pump, when you turn the key (as if to roll up a window or listen to music) the fuel pump cuts on and does NOT cut off. IF it starts it is running rich loading up bucking as if trying to flood out you can smell the gas at the exhaust. The shop has had it 2 wks and it has started twice and they "don't have a clue". I have purchased a fuel pressure regulator but don't have it on yet since truck is still at the shop.  Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track? Give me suggestions of things to try -- I have a 1992 in the yard I can try parts from but really need to figure out a way to get it started or wait until at least Monday to get it towed home.  I've ran through this with all the guys at the fire department and the fuel pressure regulator makes about as much sense as anything. I don't want to take to a Ford place and pay 800 for a 20 part.  All suggestions and ideas welcome!!! I really need my ride running ASAP.  Thanks to all my Hazzard cousins -- DixieDavenport

I thought I'd have a go at Cooter's van from 'Uncle Boss' (the one he uses to hide Hughie's VW). As far as I can tell it's a Flxible Southern body on an unknown chassis (see this post for more pictures). I started off with just the rear panel before convincing myself to do the whole side view. I may add front and back views at a later date. I wonder if they even painted the other side because it's never seen on screen. The eagle-eyed amongst you may spot that I've just modified the wheels from the tow truck - we don't get a particularly clear look at the wheels, so I figured these were close enough.

I spotted this picture online during the week. It looks like Cooter's repair standards are really slipping - just look what he's done to Uncle Jesse's pickup . Believe it or not I've discovered that this picture was taken on Burbank Blvd, only about one and a half miles from WB's studios.
