Roth Potter reacted to RogerDuke in Bo Duke Is Indeed Going To Jail!
All he needs to do is steal some more slot machines and stick them in the local businesses. Then he can get out of this mess and save the orphanage at the same time. It worked back in '79 and it can work again.

Any updates on this old thread?

Roth Potter got a reaction from Hobie Hartkins in My Dukes of Hazzard Memorabilia Collection
I've heard about the jump track before, but the Slam Shifters Raceway is new to me.
The puzzle is very interesting as the puzzle is a behind the scenes photo of the jump where the General is about to hit the last car of the pile!

Roth Potter reacted to yizuman in Howdy Folks
Howdy everyone. We're new here. Wife and I are watching Dukes on Amazon. We're currently on Season 5.
Great that there's a great looking forum here and will be exploring a lot.
We're both deaf (thanks to captions) and we've been fans of the show ever since the show premiered.
Sad about James Best's passing not too long ago.
We've never met any of the casts, but my wife's best friend from GA has met John Schneider.
Chat ya'll laters.

Roth Potter reacted to HossC in Weekend plans
It was Reginald D Hunter who I saw tonight. I was going to post a video of his stand-up, but most of it contains a fair amount of swearing, so I decided to go for an interview instead (there's a little of his stand-up in the middle).

I have been a huge fan of "The Dukes of Hazzard", and have been collecting its Memorabilia, since the age of 7.
Here is a photo of my collection.

I got to see most of the Indy 500. Who would've thought that both races would have Aussie winners? Congratulations to Daniel Ricciardo and Will Power.

My husband saw a lady wearing a Dukes of Hazzard shirt in the grocery store the other day. He told her, "I LOVE that show!"

I'm heading out to the dirt track tonight and kayaking tomorrow. This is the first Memorial Day weekend in 22 years that I haven't had to work overtime.

Roth Potter reacted to HossC in Have you ever seen a General Lee?
I recently discovered that they've made two seasons of a French version of Wheeler Dealers with Gerry and Aurélien (instead of Mike and Edd/Ant). By the end I was starting to recognize more and more of the car parts in French, despite last studying the language over 30 years ago and forgetting most of the little I knew since then.

Thanks Roth. This is pretty cool!

Thanks for posting the video, Roth. It's good to see Tom enjoying himself in Europe again. I think he likes meeting Dukes fans - the owners of General Lee replicas I met at last year's American car show had both met him. He's certainly quite happy to talk about the show, and is very generous with his time.

I miss the 1980's when every decent sized town had at least one person driving around in a General Lee.

Roth Potter reacted to HossC in Yanni-Laurel
Even more so if Roger's the first one to post it!
I haven't bothered to read up on the subject, but they were discussing it on the radio earlier. Apparently, the "Laurel" sound is at a lower frequency and the "Yanni" is at a higher frequency. Older people tend to hear "Laurel", although if you listen to the clip for a long time, some people who originally heard "Laurel" start to hear "Yanni".

Roth Potter reacted to CornDog in Rare and Behind the Scenes Pictures of the Dukes of Hazzard
I believe there are only two people in the car. This is how they shot the footage from the driver's view. Clearly, the camera man is in the driver seat operating the camera. Paul Baxley is straddling the center of the car. He has a thick green jacket to lean up against the roll bar. Paul drives the car as the camera man films.

I checked, its a different building. I have a feeling they might've not used this one. Or I just cant find it.
For this time I've found some pictures which were probably used to promote the cartoon show.
And to finish it off, artwork from one of the TV Guides.

Ok, I think that fixed it. Let me know if the problem continues.

Roth Potter reacted to RogerDuke in Funny true story
There was a cartoon when I was a kid called Go Go Gophers and one of them had the catch phrase "What him say? What him say?" I feel like that gopher a lot.

I had nothing much to do Sunday so I spent the whole day sitting here doing nothing but worrying about Roth......okay, maybe not all day but still.....I hope you're feeling better.

I love those cartoon drawings!
I have a few of those old TV Guides but not the one with the first episode.
I think the 16 you asked about is "16" magazine. It was pretty popular with teen-age girls.

Must've been a cold day.
30 years later and we still don't have robot sheriffs. Luckily.
And to finish off a season 5 picture.
