  1. I'm gonna take a crack at the Barbara Eden one.... Lessee... Barbara Eden starred on I Dream of Jeannie with Larry Hagman. Larry Hagman guest starred on an episode of the Rockford Files with James Garner. Sorrell Booke also guest starred on an episode of Rockford just before landing the role of Boss Hogg.
  2. I'm diggin' the picture of that black Charger! Welcome to HNet!
  3. He's not. LOL. I've watched that movie so many times and I can't find John in any shot. I also read somewhere that he was apparently the kid in the Coors shirt. Well there's two teens in Coors shirts (that I found) during the course of this movie and neither one of them is John. Here's kid #1 in a Coors shirt....definetly not John... Here's three of the kids that attempt to car strip Carries car, the kid in the middle with the yellow shirt is definetly not John.... But here's Cooter for all y'all lookin' for 'em! And here's Sonny (Enos)! Hang on y'all!!
  4. In my quest to find out why the hell the Dukes trailer didn't air during the Super Bowl when it apparently was supposed to, I did find this interesting article at http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/setprev4.php I'm still searching to find out why the trailer didn't air. I'll probably never find the answer but I may find more neat articles. LOL Set Preview: "The Dukes of Hazzard" Posted: Tuesday February 1st, 2005 7:00pm Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana Author: Kellvin Chavez When Warner Bros. Pictures announced a movie adaptation of the beloved The Dukes of Hazzard, some fans were pumped, some were nostalgic, but many more were terrified. After all, for every one good adaptation of a TV show--Brady Bunch, say--there are four embarrassments like Starsky & Hutch. But this is an excellent sign: One of these skeptical fans was Burt Reynolds, who said that if The Dukes of Hazzard is in any way like Starsky & Hutch, he would refuse to do the movie. The studio listened. When he was convinced that the creators were treating the movie seriously, even faithfully, he agreed to do the film, signing on as Boss Hogg. Joining Reynolds are Sean Williams Scott as Bo, Johnny Knoxville as Luke, and even Willie Nelson (Willie frikkin' Nelson!) as Uncle Jesse. And, most importantly, Jessica Simpson plays the part of Daisy Duke, shimmying into the super-short-shorts that every guy drooled about for the entire '80s. I had a chance to visit the set for the movie, which was filmed in the wooded outskirts of Baton Rouge, LA. The creators stressed that they're shooting for a tone that's a mixture of action and comedy, the comparison they used was Lethal Weapon and Beverly Hills Cop, which, if true, bodes quite well for the film. They wanted to make a film that was the anti-Starsky & Hutch, making sure that it wasn't campy and not a spoof, but more of homage to Smokey And The Bandit, Blues Brother and The Cannonball Run. The upcoming movie will feature all the usual characters (including the best character of all, the General Lee, which looks fantastic), and stay true to the spirit of the show, but it takes place in modern times. For instance, Bo and Luke have visions of NASCAR glory. But the important elements of the TV show are all there. Bo and Luke give Boss Hogg hell, they have to save the family farm, and they try to track down a treasure, of sorts--a lost Civil War payroll. On the set, I interviewed the cast (including Jessica Simpson, who, despite her image, is actually quite articulate), Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Producer Bill Gerber and director Jay Chandrasekhar. And in the weeks prior to the movie's release date (July 29th), I'll be giving you reports with all the goodies. The "Daisy Dukes." Q&As with the talent. A dinner conversation with Burt Reynolds. And some shockingly cool stunts that involve the General Lee. That's all going to be coming soon.
  5. Hi snicker, We don't have a whole lot of rules and regs here at the HNet forums (other than common courtesy...and sometimes even that goes out the window. LOL). However, we draw the line at any solictations and self promotions of other websites. Brian's post about this topic from our announcements section basically covers it... http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=905 Basically, as Brian's post puts it, we don't want the forums to become a classified ad type section. 6. Cousin Dave, I applaud you. I agree too that Hollywood of today is lacking in originality and creativity. Unless there's a pointless overuse of swearing and toilet humor in the script, Hollywood won't pick it up. Any wonder why India (Bollywood) is starting to give Hollywood a run for it's money?
  7. True. And my hair looks so much better than Trumps! BAHAHAHA! MaryAnne ------------ HazzardNet Administrator President of the Hair Donations for Trump
  8. Now, now Darrell....be nice. Lookin' forward to the new season. Don't know who to route for, other than Jr. Most of my favorite drivers are all retired. LOL MaryAnne ------------ HazzardNet Administrator Chief Lackey Leadfoot
  9. I was being sarcastic in regards to something bamamedia said in another post. I'll use the tags next time. And...mine is clean, thank you very much. MaryAnne ----------- HazzardNet Administrator Expert Cord Tripper

  11. Besides, the tv show sucked anyway, except for Daisy's rear exterior and the General. So why they're even bothering to put that 34-year-old car in the movie is beyond me... MaryAnne ----------- HazzardNet Administrator Content Manager HNet Forums Reichsprotektor
  12. BAHAHAHA!! That is too damn funny. Yeah, I'd like see that try and jump the creek too!
  13. Waalll, I ain't sayin' he hadda tell Rosco nothin'. I just don't think he hadda be so rude, cuss it all t' tarnation.
  14. BAHAHAHAHA!! Rosco can hardly handle the car he's got. Something faster? Like Boss is gonna pay more for something faster?? ROFL!
  15. "Bet that put a kink in his plow line." And Bo's line as Bethie uses for her tag "You know, Luke I think that made 'em mad! Ooof!"
  16. *Begin rant* You know, that scene all ways kills me. (Read: Pisses me off). Obviously I have a bias in favor of Rosco (if'n any y'all didn't know. LOL) but I feel really bad for Rosco who goes to the farm to pay his respects and Jesse essentially turns the knife in an already open wound. Rosco obviously doesn't know the boys are alive like Jesse and Daisy do and for cryin' out loud, he's the one that saw the General go into the pond! For all he knew, he witnessed Bo and Luke demise. Enos came out with the clothes, Rosco was the one that had to tell Jesse what happened and we had that very wrenching scene at the Boar's Nest. Everybody was crying. Except Boss but don't get me started on him and his actions in this episode. LOL I think what Jesse said was uncalled for to be honest. *end rant*
  17. "Those of you that are heading for the milk and cookies, you picked a bad time..."
  18. MY list of things to do? GAAAH!! Good luck finding the end of that list, cousin, it's pretty long. ROFL. Friends and neighbors don't stick a fork in because it ain't done yet!
  19. The rider next to the lead one of the pack fell violently from his mount, but his foot caught in the stirrup. His horse kept going though, having no idea it's rider was dead. The rest of the pack kept on after MaryAnne. Guns were all drawn and now they had two targets. The deputy and the anonymous cowboy that had just taken out one of their ranks. But their shots were useless, as the red horse was running at an incredible speed. Depsite Chet yelling for her not to look back, MaryAnne did quickly. She saw one of the pack had fallen out of the chase. Although grateful, she was surprised Chet would try to help her. He certainly didn't owe her anything. Then she realized her death would spell his own, especially if Rosco...or worse, Brian...found out. All in all, it was turning out to be a bad morning... **** At the two mile mark, Rosco pulled the reins on his mustang and Lightening skidded to a stop. The white horse was turned around and Rosco stared back in the direction they had just rode from. Four miles.... Dammit! He looked at Brian, his look still grim but now shadowed by a cross between apology and a plea for help. But if he was wrong, MaryAnne would have both their heads if Rosco brought Brian back into town, and Rosco knew that wasn't a risk Brian was willing to take. But something was knawing at the Sheriff. Deep. Sure, Chet was a lying, theiving, no good scoundrel but...Rosco's discomfort seemed to go beyond the rustler. Like there was some other force out there, somewhere. He gave Brian a nod. "See ya around..." Lightening took off back toward town. (cue anyone!)
  20. The rush of adrenline that had carried MaryAnne from getting Brian into Diablo, the drive to the hospital, getting him out of Diablo and then helping him onto the stretcher all came to a crashing stop once the doors the ER swung closed. MaryAnne had seen Chance's nod and knew Brian was in the best of hands. But for the moment, the young deputy could do nothing but stare at the middle of the two doors as they settled.... ....and cry. (cue anyone!)
  21. I have a story! ROFL One of the classes I took in college (back in like 96/97 when the Dukes were on TNN) was called "Juvenile Justice" (I was originally thinking to be a paralegal so I ended up taking a lot of the same classes as the criminal justice folks. Imagine that? LOL) Anyway, the teacher presented us with the following situation: You receive a call that there is a loud party going on at a house and there are approximately 20 kids there, some underage and there is alcohol. What do you do? Well one kid said "I'd call for some back up first." The teacher said that there was no backup available. To which another kid said "Well wait a minute, what is this some one horse town with Rosco P. Coltrane?" Then sombody at the back of the class went "Khee khee! I love it, I love it!" (and no it was't me, but I was laughing my posterior off with everyone else)
  22. Keep in mind folks that episodes were not necessarily aired in the order in which they were produced. That's why the funky thing with Daisy's car going off the cliff in The Runaway, then showing up in Find Loretta Lynn. Same with the Rosco clone episodes. Jimmie Best walked off the set and stayed off it for atleast a month or so. But the episodes he's missing from are mixed around one that he appears in...Find Loretta Lynn. Find Loretta Lynn seems to be one of the episodes that really messes folks up. LOL. This episode was filmed and then held for the February Sweeps week (Note the air date.. 2/8/1980). Lisa
  23. Khee! Emery Potter! Come to think of it, he shows up again in the episode where Boss and Jesse are locked in the vault at the bank, which was talked about in another thread. LOL
  24. (I had "bumped" the thread so y'all would see that Daney changed her post and passed the cue to Chance and/or Riddick. So......cue Chance and/or Riddick! 8) )
