That was quite an episode when Mario Andretti, Evel Knievel and Woody Allen turned up in Hazzard driving Chitty Chitty Bang Bang . Is it just me, or does Uncle Jesse look a bit more like Charlie Daniels than usual?
Nice pics - glad you enjoyed yourself.
Thanks. That would be a interesting episode. I was so happy to fine it. There was also a little Monster truck looking General Lee but I knew I couldn't get a good picture.
The guy that painted the car had over 3,000 hours of work on it. He's in Ripley's Believe it or not.

Here's the promised picture of the Friends fountain when it appeared in Dukes. You can see the school building on the left. The Small Soldiers house was built just behind where the blue landing mat is here. The pool that's visible on the aerial shots was hidden by the bushes and seating on the right.
I thought I'd include a picture of "1162" from 'Bewitched'. You can see that it already had its stone cladding when it appeared in the episode 'George, the Warlock' (S01E30). You may also spot these buildings in other popular shows of '60s and '70s like 'The Donna Reed Show', 'I Dream of Jeannie' and 'The Monkees'.
The stone cladding had gone from "1162" before it became the "Lethal Weapon House" in 1987. It even had a new garage built at the side. The first shot below is from 'Lethal Weapon 2', and clearly shows the school/civic building was still in existence into 1989. The second shot shows that it had been replaced by 1992's 'Lethal Weapon 3'.
Two houses replaced the school/civic building, and have been used and restyled many times eg. for 'American Beauty'. The first on-screen appearance of the blue house that's just visible in the previous picture was as the Griswolds' house in 'Christmas Vacation' (1989). The first picture below shows Clark (Chevy Chase) trying to get the Christmas lights working. I'm pretty sure that the tree on the left is the one I told you to remember two posts back. The second picture shows "1162", home to the Griswolds' unfortunate neighbors. Now painted blue, it no longer has its window shutters. The boy at the tailgate is a young Johnny Galecki (aka. Leonard Hofstadter from 'The Big Bang Theory'), who plays Russell 'Rusty' Griswold.
That really cool to know about that house. I've seen "Christmas Vacation" many times. Now I guess I will look at it differently.

I Love this. I would so watch it and read it if it was to be a story. You have my support for this.

That's sad to hear Roger. I bet you won't see this till ya get a new one but here's a company that sells computers. Sadly I only know about this place because my dad work at there business here in Wilmington. Hope ya find a new one soon.

I'm excited for this weekend. Can't wait for the trucks. It would be so cool if there was a General Lee truck. I totally make sure to get a picture of it for y'all.

I agree with B.L.

This heat is crazy. For us here in southwest Ohio, this weather has created big storms. Some nasty. At least we're getting the rain we've needed.

It's a good thing ya weren't hurt more than that. And watching Dukes and working on your bike, I think, is a great combination.

I so know the answer to this one.
It's D. I don't know why but I totally remember that.

The date for the Clark County Fair here is NOT accurate. It is actually Sunday July 22. These are amazing shows. If you're anywhere near Ohio try to catch at least one!
I would love to see the Clark County one but I don't think we can. It's $7 to get into the grandstands and we just don't have the money. I really wish I could.

Here's a question from a couple weeks ago that nobody's answered yet.
I'll answer. I think Luke.

So on CMT.com, they say there will be another marathon on the 26th.
But there is one thing I wonder. Are they doing these marathons just to show them at earlier times or are they trying to finish the series up so they can stop showing it?
I want to say there are doing them to get the series over with. My reason: They had all those nights that it should have been on but they didn't. They also went with that long time without showing it. So those are pretty good explanations for it.
So what do all of ya think?

Lucky for you Garrett, I found someone who put the whole episode of YouTube with no commercials.

It doesn't matter if its short, its still really fun. Has some great speeds on it. And the tunnel at the end is fun at night 'cause ya don't really know when the tunnel ends.

When our local amusment park was owned by Paramount, we got a ride called "Italian Job: Stunt Coster" (I think that's what it was). It's a fun ride. Has three trains and 3 cars to the train. One train is red, second blue, and the third white. At the end, it looks like you are bursting through a build board.
of what the ride is like. This had to have been when it first opened because now you don't end with diving into water 'cause they never fill it up, and the Diamondback ride is not by it. -
Haha. There seemed to be the same thing here. Except we had this white fluffy stuff too.
Today was a great day for the amusement park. So much fun.

Send the rain over here Hoss. We need it. A lot of places in Indiana had to cancel their 4th of July fireworks and campgrounds are not allowing fires.

It's finally cooled off here up on Lake Erie. That was a rough one!
Well its cool down here about an hour north of the Ohio River. Its in the 80s and its great weather to go to Kings Island, a theme park that's 30 minutes south of where I live.

Well the summer has hit hard on Northwest Ohio. It was a sad year for my uncle to start farming. His crops haven't done so well, lost some of his soybeans but still has crops. I feel sorry for him. Some farmers lost everything. Corn wasn't tall either.
And when we were drivin' up there, we saw quite a bit of brown grass. It was really sad to see.
