  1. This was one of the early ones...they have a completely different kitchen etc. in this one! Ever notice the comment Waylon made, about how " For those of you ignorant of good music, Jesse Colter is one of the world's best singers, but I'm partial to June Carter myself!" Jesse was Waylon's WIFE and June Carter was Johnny Cash's wife.  I'm sure this joke was lost on a lot of people who don't know country music.

  2. You ever notice Luke had another car and Waylon in this episode, says " While they had another car, when they were expecting trouble, the drove the General". We never see Luke's other car OR THEIR " Other Car" ...lol

The writers must've liked the name Pruitt. There was Mr. Pruitt the printer in 'Mrs. Daisy Hogg', and one of the characters in 'The Treasure of Soggy Marsh' was also called Pruitt. Besides those, there were mentions of Pruitt Corners, Mr. Pruitt's farm, Pruitt's Hollow, Pruitt's pasture and Pruitt's Meadow (some of which have already been mentioned by Roger).

That's a good find! I noticed that there are a lot of  " Charlies " in the show....Jesse calls almost any male he's passing on a street cornet etc.  Charlie.   " Hey Charlie"

I just used a little imagination to fix that. Jesse's wife is Lavinia but once in awhile he calls her by her middle name....Martha.

Yea, but remember, when ….can't remember what it was, but Jesse didn't want Bo and Luke to be involved and so he told them to go stay with aunt Lovinia….when Bo and Luke talked about it, Luke said, " Hell, he hasn't talked to aunt Lovinia in 20 yrs. ".....now I remember..it was when the Ridge Runners were blowing up stills and Jesse was trying to cover for them and when he found out Bo and Luke were being blamed, he told them to go see aunt Lovinia for a while. That's why I think Jesse's wife's name was Martha....he said it when him and Lucinda were sitting on the porch together. Something to the effect of  "When Martha passed, without the boys and Daisy to look after I would've gone crazy".

You're right about Old Mill Road. Another episode said it was Mill Pond Road. I could look up which episodes those were if you want. There was never a house number mentioned that I know of.

It was the episode where a girl,  Susie ( ?) was wanting to get married and her father, CJ Holmes didn't want her to be married to a poor guy from Hazzard. The two guys he paid to take his daughter on a cruise lost her and they were in the phone company office asking Maybelle where the Duke farm was and she said on Mill Pond road....don't know what the name of the episode is though. They needed to be more consistent on stuff, like Jesse's wife was Martha and on one  episode Lovinia on another ( and on one Lovinia was Bo and Luke's aunt but not Jesse's wife....

  6. We used to watch it ( my high school friends) back when it first came on and we couldn't drive yet, so sitting in front of the TV watching the Dukes, was the big time! It was something about the Dukes of Hazzard on Friday night.....something magic...It was how we partied on a Friday night! LOL! :)

  7. I'm a firm believer  in HIMM!   ( Hazzard In My Mind!) I've told the other Hazzardites here before , whenever I'm in bed or my recliner or even out in public and don't like my surroundings, I tell my wife I'm going to Hazzard and then I check out!  :)

  8. Well, I had a pretty good time here by myself ( not as good as SOME times...by myself.....never mind....) anyway, I saw where Hoss was here but nobody decided to make it! Bummer! Well, maybe next Sat. at 11:00 AM Central, we will have somebody else show up! ( Ya think??) We'll watch S1 E.2,  "Daisy's Song" !  ( Maybe I should've moved this to the chat along section?? ) Well...next time...!!
