    My Proposal : HUH???

    I have a proposal. Let's have a new section on here, called " Huh?" .   It's for things that have no real answer  and don't make sense and  keep you thinking..."  Huh?? 

    1.  " Hughie Hogg Strikes Back- " Considering what was coming up, they'd be better  off singing hymns".....or something to that effect. It seems they cut something out of the episode, that didn't hurt it much but did leave a question....??

    2. Not sure of the episode ( Hoss?? Help??) but thought it was another good example.....They ( Boss and Rosco) were trying to frame the Dukes into jail because of some stolen merchandise ( Diamond bracelet, mink coat, tickets to Mexico and I don't know what all else) and when Enos and Rosco were in Rosco's office, WITH the mink coat  etc. and Enos says something about, " I guess that let's the Duke boys out of it"  and Rosco says, " That's a wrong, that's a wrong! They're probably hiding the evidence just so they can weasel out of it. "  He was HOLDING the stuff, when he said this!!  HUH??

     

    There are tons of others I can't think of off the top of my head but as I watch and you guys watch, surely we can keep adding to the list!

    This is the way they write in the town I live in. I tell the Yankees ....don't judge the South by this town. If this was like the rest of the South, you and your preconceived ideas about us would be right!  One of the jobs I got with my big fine college education, was as a janitor at the local middle school. The vice principal, with a masters degree in Sociology,  told me to put up this sign , " Fall Registeration will be......."

    I said, you want me to put this up just like you wrote it? She says, yes, why not? I said it's Registration, the noun, NOT register ( ation???) which is a verb! I asked her, you didn't major in English did you? LOL! :)

    The source of this information is the episode,  " Cletus Falls In Love " ( S.4 E. 12) It's something that might be good on a trivia contest.

     

    How many violations did Bo and Luke have on their probation? 

    Answer: 287

     

    * Another funny fact.....the subtitles that you can turn on to see the dialogue, when Daisy, Jesse and Cooter are talking about springing the boys from jail, Cooter says " It ain't gonna be easy with Bighead Little guarding them." Bighead" = Big Ed, as in Ed Little the Sheriff  of Chicasaw Co. Sometimes the words are a little off...lol!
